The place looks amazing and I wish I could say we'll be staying there but after talking to an unpleasant man with a couldn't-care-less attitude on the Forever Resorts reservations line, we will be looking elsewhere. Don't bother asking for a specific cabin location, they will tell you that for $150/night, you cannot choose your own cabin - they will... More

Dear Sir or Madam, First off, let me apologize for the less than satisfactory customer service that you received. We pride ourselves in offering friendly customer service at all times and it appears that in this case we failed to deliver on that. We would like to speak with you directly so that we can address the matter and make... More

Cedar Pass Lodge provides adequate accommodations for Badlands National Park. Cabins include twin units with separate entrances that have been newly renovated and paneled in cedar planking. Amenities include two queen sized beds and private bathrooms. Units are clean, comfortable and adequate, but are nothing to write home about. Small back patios with 2 Adirondack chairs provide little privacy but... More

The only lodging inside the Badlands is the cabins at Cedar Pass. All the cabins are new (about a year) and they will be building more. The cabins are beautiful... all cedar, immaculate, with two queen beds, small fridge, microwave, hairdryer, separate shower/toilet area from sink/dressing area, table and chairs, a porch with cedar chairs that overlook a lovely view... We were able to get one of their new cabins. Great smell of freshly cut pine when we first opened the door, like they just finished building the cabin. Excellent decor, plenty of room for two. The shower was a little pesky keeping the water warm. Flat screen TV, microwave, fridge, wi-fi, everything a city boy needs. The restaurant has... More

I stayed two nights in one of the cabins and loved every minute of it. The cabins are spotless and comfortable, decorated in a tasteful, rustic "prairie/frontier" style with rough pine timber bed frames and furniture. Our cabin had a small fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. We parked our car on the gravel street in front of the... More

We have stayed here before, and I was so impressed with the new cabins. We stayed in one of the duplexes, and it was so well done. Comfortable bed, flat screen TV (which of course we never turned on, but still....). The furnishings are really nice. I was just so surprised at how much they have improved the accomodations. Great... More

We recently stayed at the Cedar Pass Lodge in the Badlands of South Dakota. I wouldn't really call it a lodge, although there is a huge shop/store/restaurant. The lodging consists of cabins/cottages. I can't really comment on the older (MUCH older) cottages as ours was brand spanking new - and FANTASTIC. Our trip through the west took an entire month... More

My husband and I and adult daughter were traveling cross country and spent one night in two of the new cabins. The cabins are duplexes and we had adjoining units with a connecting door. As they are brand new everything was lovely although there was a chemical odor which we assumed was the log finish (and which presumably will dissipate).... More

We enjoyed our stay in a new duplex cabin. The cabins are just right inside the enterance of the park, right behind the Cedar pass Lodge and near the campground. Nice new cabin, you can't complain about new. The second night the other unit left the tv on all night and you could hear it, but barely. Nice bed, nice... More
