The new cabins are great. They are well appointed, smell good, are clean and very comfy. They are priced very fair. Given that there are not a lot of options around, they could probably charge double and it would still be an okay deal. Staying in the Badlands is awesome and a wonderful experience. These cabins make it even more... More

Lovely property nestled in the badlands. Great view and just all around pleasant. Nice walk to the nightly ranger program and very close to gift shop and restaurant. Would gladly visit again. Enjoyed the rustic feel without the camping experience. A welcomed change from the average hotel chain. The staff at the registration area were very nice. The property was... More

We stayed in the rustic styled cabins in Badlands National Park. We had porches on the front and back of the freestanding cabin. Everything looked brand new (but rustic) and beautiful. The cabin was spacious and functional with lovely scenery.

Staying at the Cedar Pass Lodge is the best way to experience Badlands National Park. The cabins are new and updated and very comfortable. The beds are luxurious--especially after a long day of hiking or exploring. The front and back porch made relaxing easy. The fridge and microwave make it easy to have your own snacks because the restaurant attached... More

The cabins here are lovely. Log cabins with great amenities. Bamboo towels, great product in the bathroom. Very comfy beds, great linens. Microwave & flat screen TV. And the view is fabulous. Great for hiking, biking (which we did), short walk to the visitor center that is very good, when not over run with tourist buses. And the restaurant that... More

We had a long drive from Denver to Interior. This Cedar Pass Lodge was a good choice. Beautiful spacious new lodge. Tastefully decorated, very good beds. Our lodge had two terraces and we had a beautiful overlook at the Badlands. When we checked out they give us a free bag of ice with it. Next day we did some hiking... More

Well, check in was poor. Room was not going to be available till exactly 4 pm. The front desk had all new staff except for one person (Ben?). When I came back at 4 pm, it took about 1/2 hour to check in. Not a good first impression. Lobby and gift shop was nice. Restaurant had a run down look... More

Only stayed one night on our way to Mt Rushmore. Would have liked to stay more. Good - Brand new cabins, rustic look, awesome toiletries (used at other hotels later in the week!), TV with HDMI hookup, fridge, microwave, comfy bed. The best was the view and proximity to the Badlands. Our cabin was on the left side of the... More

Easy check-in. Scrupulously clean. Bed was marvelously comfortable and linens were excellent. Took me a bit to figure out the AC/Heat unit (snow in May, brrr), but I was able to do so. These are single cabins, that, I understand, have been refurbished. TV, fridge, wifi, all available. The bath cosmetics were splendid. Stayed here while traveling on business. Do... More

We stayed her for 3 nights and it was wonderful. The front staff, Nichole Big Crow and Maria Iolana were wonderful. Julie Kruse in the restaurant is a local and super. All the cabins are new. Very, very clean with upscale bedding and towels that were better than any chain place we have stayed. We were in #116 which was... More
