So charming, unique, feeling like a home. Forget the generic hotels, this has everything you want from a hotel, plus the experience of staying in a truly, classy room, decorated with antique furnitures from the 1800's, a gorgeous tea room with 2 pianos and yummy giant cinnamon buns for breakfast. All for a great price!

A very nice and spotlessly clean hotel. The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is I thought the breakfast (which consists of a cinnamon roll) was a little sparse. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. I'll stay here again the next time I come through here.

Looks like a very nice restored Inn, but in reality, was built and furnished with antiques to resemble something much older. Very clean room and friendly staff. The entrance door is not automatic. No refrigerator in room.

The Inn is a fairly recent building but decorated with the charm and elegance of the early 20th century. The common areas are relaxing and comfy places to work on your portable devices, wifi being available at this hotel. The rates are reasonable, the rooms clean and good eating establishments nearby...try the Aztec Diner. The historic Aztec Ruins are less... More

There aren't too many choices in Aztec, so we picked this hotel based on TA reviews. Very clean and friendly. Nice quiet hotel. Can't complain about a thing. I recommend giving them a try! Our room was at the back of the hotel, so parking was very convenient.

We give this Beautiful Inn 5 stars. Every one is so friendly. Service is Awesome. We stayed 2 days. Each room has its own name and the place is like stepping back in time. There is history throughout the building. Small token of the past are on the walls. Antique furniture everywhere you look. Very reasonable in price. Quiet and... More

We came to Aztec for a graduation party and decided to stay at this little B & B. My boyfriend and I were very comfortable here, and we really enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, and the staff was friendly. We will definitely be back when we come through Aztec again.

The hotel really is a bit like your Great Aunt's frilly guest room, for better or worse (a matter of taste). It is clean and rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, and the price is right, which is all the important stuff. It's quiet, for sure - almost maybe too quiet, as in, it was so immaculately silent in the... More

Loved staying at the Step Back Inn!! The family and I were visiting my Dad, who lives in Aztec, at the same time as other family members were. Had to get a motel room. Didn't want to drive to Farmington just to sleep. Checked out 2 of the 3 motels. Not only was Step Back Inn closer but cheaper. We... More

Made to be a cute place but sometimes a little expensive for the value if it's during tourist season. The nearby Aztec Cafe is good for Indian fry bread, tacos. i don't have anything else to say about this place, but Travelocity won't take my review unless I have 200 characters.
