We had a nice time. Beaches are clean. Only negative thing was mosquitos lol friendly staff. The info center was helpful. My kids had to do a project and they supplied lots of information. Great location. lots of shops within driving and walking distance.

Friendly staff at the visitors center and friendly forester rangers. Beautiful island, white sands, ample parking, clean restroom facilities, a wonderful place to slow down and unwind. It was the highlight of our trip.

A couple of caveats--bring your bug spray, don't pitch your tent in a low spot, and don't leave food sitting around the campsite outside or even INSIDE a screen tent.
