Three couples traveling together stayed here this fall. We were in Moab to take advantage of the area attractions. The property is tremendous, both inside and out, and I have no hesitancy in recommending it to anyone. The rooms are warm and inviting and the grounds are attractive and includes a pool. It is a 20 minute walk to downtown.... More

We have stayed at Sunflower Hill several times, and all of them have been terrific. I love their attentiveness and the attention to detail. We look forward to returning again and again!! We stayed in the Sunporch room, and it is quite nice with a newly renovated large bathroom and great jetted tub. This room would also be great in... More

We stayed at Sunflower Hill for three nights during October 2014. The location is quiet but very convenient for the main street in Moab and for the restaurants, excursion companies etc. The location is also perfect for visits to the Arches and Canyonlands and a number of other National Parks in the area. The room we had was a good... More

Always preface by stating my wife and I are in our eary thirties. The important things to note: 1) location is great near great restaurants, which they provide you a list of, and also near Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. When you first turn down road don't be alarmed, this is truly a beautiful and charming place, some of other... More

We stayed at the Sunflower Hill B&B for three nights in September 2014 – I’m a bit late with this review, sorry! We stayed one night in the Bowrey room and two nights in the Ivy room, I would have booked the Bowrey room for the three nights but it was unavailable for the three nights. Both rooms were lovely.... We stayed here for two nights in the Sun Porch room. The room was lovely, a huge bathroom with a great spa. The owners were also really helpful lending us CDs for self guided tours of the Arches and Canyonlands parks. They also suggested a great road to drive when leaving Moab which followed the Colorado river and was spectacular.... More

I concur with the comments of SandyJZ and NJZ, two of my traveling companions. This might be my favorite B&B of all time, a lodging style that is always my preferred way to go. The innkeepers and staff are committed to hospitality, which they demonstrate in expected and unexpected ways ( a sound machine in the bedroom!) What a pleasure... More

We stayed for four nights from Nov 6 through Nov 9.........the location was perfect (AWAY from the busy street, but close enough to walk to main road) We were in the Lookout room and had enough of room for all of our "stuff". It was private, quiet and comfortable! The deck was wonderful! After a long day of hiking or... More

Thank you Jersey Girl, that was a "fantastic" review! Glad you enjoyed the Look Out room with its spacious balcony deck. It's the perfect place to enjoy views of the gardens, relax with a cool beverage, or catch the final warming rays of the setting sun. You timed your stay perfectly as the weather was so delightful. After you left,... More

Sunflower Hill is a gorgeous property with all of the expected amenities for an upscale B&B, plus a few nice unexpected touches. It is only three blocks from the main road in Moab, but was quiet, private and much, much nicer than any of the chain hotels. It was only a 10-minute drive to the B&B from Arches National Park.... Great room, great breakfast, great people. This hidden gem added a great deal to a wonderful vacation. Our room was perfect. The breakfasts were filling and enjoyable. The owners were personable and informative. Skip the hotel chains and enjoy this truly wonderful Inn.

Thank you Deb. Glad we could be part of a wonderful vacation. Your review sums things up nicely in 6 words, "Great room, great breakfast, great people" (of course "great people" also refers to the wonderful guests that bless us with their delightful personalities, thoughtfulness and friendship). When I think of the phrase, "The memory of a great meal stays... More
