The Kokopelli Lodge is conveniently located a block from the heart of downtown Moab, and yet the rooms are totally quiet and peaceful even on a weekend night. The customer service is nice. Their laptop for Internet access wasn't set up in the lounge (they had nowhere to plug it in), but they let us take it back to our... More

Thank you for noticing all the good things the Kokopelli offers our guests. Yes, the bathrooms are small - they had a little different concept of space in the 1950's, when the motel was built! We are glad you slept well and enjoyed Moab while at the Kokopelli. Come again! More

My friends and family have reserved rooms here for several years for the Moab races in March, October and December. We book a year in advance so we can all have room together. Initially, this little Inn was wonderful and super accommodating. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we always enjoyed our stay. In the past year, the quality... More

I am so sorry we disappointed you in March. My apologies. We had a 4 month stint at the beginning of the year with new management. It was not successful, and as you can see from our reviews since then, things have been turned around completely. I so wish you had contacted me directly and let me make things right.... More

Having book an Inntowner set of rooms I was delighted when we arrived. The rooms were well furnished, well decorated, clean and above the standard I had expected. My daughter and I loved all the IKEA things in the kitchen. All very colourful. Very well situated for the Main Street and for getting in and out of Moab. Very friendly... More

This is not a fancy place, it's a little rustic, but for the price, its perfect if you have a dog. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the little yard is great. You can sit on a bench in the shade while your dogs does its business. We have stayed here twice, and both times were happy with everything.... More

This does have a great location and the staff is friendly but I would not stay here again. The room was too minimalistic for our liking. There just was no room or anything extra. The bathroom should have some kind of shelf to set makeup etc on. The room was very clean and it was within walking distance of downtown.... More

Thank you for the constructive comments. We know we cannot satisfy everyone's needs, but we do our best to provide clean, comfortable lodging with the best staff in town, at a reasonable price. The minimalistic rooms are on purpose, but you are so right, we need to address a shelf in the bathroom. Thanks for letting us know what you... More

I have very sensitive hearing and the a/c directly at my ear kept me up most of the night. My husband slept. Candice was very friendly and caring. She called me back when our conversation was dropped. The attention to detail was impeccable. In number 3 there is not a carpet.

Thank you so much for listing the positives first! And thank you for mentioning our operations manager, Candice - she does a great job of helping guests have a great time in Moab and training our staff to do the same. We are looking at a much quieter option for the A/C issue, and hope to have it resolved by... More

we arranged a last minute trip to Moab and needed a pet friendly place that was not a hotel and something where we could self cater as needed. We stayed in the small queen size suite number 4. This was a cute tiny apartment with the just the bare necessities for cooking up a breakfast or sitting in the back... More

Welcome to summer in Moab! You experienced our first brown, then blackout of the summer. We've had another one since you were here. You, like so many of our guests were so understanding and just rolled with it (not like there was a lot of choice!). I'm glad you enjoyed the space for you and your pup and we hope... More

We spent to nights at Kokopelli Lodge and quite enjoyed our stay. The small hotel (only 9 rooms) is quirky and cute. Color schemes are not your bland beiges but unique in each room - plus accessories like bath towels, etc., are coordinated. Yes, the rooms are small but fine for two people. After all, you are in Moab for... More

Come again and ask for room 9, the one you were in. The carpet is being replaced with hard floor on Monday and we will struggle with spots no more! It is the only room at the Lodge with carpet and we are as happy as the guests to be getting rid of it - so much easier to keep... More

Every year I travel from AZ to CO with my 2 dogs and stop overnight in Moab. I tried other "pet friendly" hotels and even tried boarding them in a local kennel overnight, but 4 years ago I decided to try the Kokopelli Lodge. What a great find! They are not only "pet friendly" but "pet welcoming". My dogs got... More

If you are looking for something on the less expensive side but still a great value, then this is the place to stay. The rooms were shockingly clean and updated and the beds were incredibly comfortable! Location was pretty ideal because it was off of the main road but still very close.
