The website does not do this place justice. The RV resort is stunningly beautiful the bathrooms are like a resort. Do yourself a favor and stay here. This is not your average RV campground. I will come back and bring friends. Thank U Portal RV John B April 2015

This is a great resort. Off the highway so little noise, close to town, neat and clean. Everything was great and the views of the red cliffs add to the ambiance. There are two sections. One for regular which gives you a gravel pad that was raked before we came, a concrete patio, picnic table and a tree. The park... More

We have 2 70# dogs who need to run so we like the dog area. Though small, it is grass and fenced so dogs can roll in the grass and play ball. However, some guests DO NOT pick up after their dogs so I always pick up poops from other dogs as soon as we enter the area. I missed... More

My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in March, 2015. We travel in a 5th wheel trailer. Doug and his staff are awesome. The resort is top notch too. The grounds are clean, the bathrooms and showers are tidy. I really can't find a single thing to fault. Water pressure was great, and Wi-Fi speeds were good. The... More

This is a great place just out of town, close to Arches National Park and set back off the road so you don't hear the driving sound of the roadway. Two sections: owners section and standard sites. The owner's is very upscale with concrete pads and access to a small pool and very nice baths. There was also had a... More

This place is wonderful. There are 2 sections: The "resort" section which contains privately owned spaces which are available for class "A" motorhomes and long trailers, and the campground section. While the campground section is gravel, as opposed to the paved resort section, don't let that dissuade you. The campground section is very well landscaped, the sites are really nice,... More

If you want to be treated with disrespect, stay at a dirty facility, and threatened; this is the place. I would suggest you try any of the other RV places in Moab before you take a chance at this one.

I read the reviews of Portal RV Resort and most were positive so I booked three nights at the resort. Upon arriving, we were given a back in and I had requested a pull through because of the length of my trailer and pickup. We were set up and ready to explore the area. We tried to log onto the... This resort is clean, quiet and well located. Just a few minutes out of town; we easily rode our bikes in to get groceries etc. The resort was not far from the entrance to Arches and Canyonlands. There aren't a lot of mature trees on the sites but once you put out your awning, you are well shaded. Each site... More

This place is divided into two sections: 'Resort" where you can purchase a double-wide type lot and build a 3 story town home and keep your vehicle beside it or park your RV on the concrete pad. The only amenity is a small swimming pool. I assume one could rent any unpurchased sites and camp in your RV. The Campground... More
