Gorgeous place to stay. A true RV resort and well priced. We stayed on the resort side. Super clean, landscaped beautifully, ponds, huge all cement pads to stay on, trees, great view of the cliffs in Utah, private pool for resort side, and on the edge of town close to everything and a few minutes from Arches Natuonal Park. Best... More

Portal has two sides. The campground lots are large and gravel. Very nicely landscape. We stayed in the resort section which has paved lots. Beautiful. Nice pool on resort side and a pond on the campground side. Will diffently be going back next summer with our jeep. We loved it!!

This was our first time vacationing with an RV, so we weren't sure what to expect. This campground is clean and quiet. It's also close to paved bike trails, Arches National Park's entrance (note that you will need to drive to Arches. It's not within walking or biking distance), and the cute town of Moab. It seemed expensive for what... More

Our stay here was overall pleasant. We are new to RV camping, and have a small teardrop trailer. We were assigned to a space on the North side, in the 3rd row from the front, which was big enough for a trailer and our attached trailer screen room. Note- you can't set up any tents on your site, but attachments... More

You can't use the pool unless you own a property there. Otherwise you can use the pond. Felt like we were in the movie caddy shack. We choose this because it was near the town and had a pool. A little expen

Reservation and check-in process was easy. Spotless campground. Staff is very friendly, they took the time to get to the only movie theater in town to see Jurassic World... Five minutes from the National Park entrance.

Portal is a great RV park right in the heart of Moab. We stayed in the resort section and the sites were large and had great views. Located on the northern side of Moab so we were closer to the national parks than other campgrounds on the other end of the town. Our dogs loved the swim pond.

In the beauty of red cliffs and snow capped mountains there is Portal. This is a very nice campground that offers an upgraded experience in their resort area. Yes it is more expensive but comes with a LaRge Concrete parking space. Plenty enough to park your rig and tow vehicle. Those camping in the Resort area have a nice pool... More

Super clean and amazing on the resort end. Best place to stay that I have seen on my trip. Fun swimming for kids. Amazing views of surrounding Moab mountains. Close to jeep trails. All in all fabulous.

My wife and I stayed at this RV resort in 2010. We were travelling in a 35' fifth wheel trailer. The property is just off the major highway for easy access. It is very clear that they have invested heavily in the property; however, it appears that most of it went toward the very high end, large, extra big rigs.... More
