Nice, clean park. Excellent location to take in the two National Parks; Canyonlands and Arches. MANY things to do in the Moab area. The pool is only available if you book in the "resort" section. If you book in the "camping" section, you may swim in a pond! I have never seen that before. This park is very clean with... More

This is an upscale RV park locate a mile or 2 from the entrance of Arches. I chose to stay here because there is not an RV park in Arches. The place is spotless. The bathrooms are the nicest we had on our 2 week tour of the Grand Circle. They have a nice refreshing swimming pool. We enjoyed our... More

As a dog owner I was looking forward to a nice dog park. The dog park was basically a swamp. The dogs immediately were covered in mud, not to mention there wasn't a path to a gate, and were thorns (big goat heads)and pierced through my shoes and drew blood. The pool was gross. It looked like it hadn't been... More

We found this RV resort online, but not a lot of info. We called them and reserved a spot after learning that the rates were reasonable....especially after arriving and seeing this place, I think we got a deal! Excellent wifi , beautiful grounds and amazing view of the red rock cliffs. Located 3 mi. from Arches Natnl. Park.

If you are looking for an upscale RV park that is quiet clean well maintained and beautifully landscaped this is the place for you. This is my fourth year at the Portal, the owners are very friendly and go out of their way to accommodate the needs of their guests. Last year my son had an ear infection they went... More

So place looks great on the internet and is actually nice in person. But it in no way deserves the title resort and even if it did and had the greatest amenities in the RV world, it still would not be worth it because of the owner. He called the cops on us for being fifteen minutes last check out... More

This guest checked-in with a 40' Fifth wheel toy hauler, truck as well as another truck and 30' cargo trailer. He was told that he would have to put the truck and cargo trailer in our storage area. He had no problem with this and actually paid for another site to accommodate the extra vehicle and trailer. That day driving... More

We just returned from spending two weeks at the Portal RV Resort and loved it! The "resort" side of the complex is designed for big rigs which is important to us. Paved roads with nice landscaping and large, deep sites. Pool and other amenities as well. Be aware that there are two areas of this resort; one area for big... More

I read a lot of reviews on different RV parks in Moab and glad we chose Portal. After being there and seeing the other rv parks, Portal was the best fit for us. It's set further off the highway so road noise is not an issue. We had a nice sized pull through site with a shade tree. Which was... More

Good location, North end of town away from main road, so it was quiet. No loud roudy people, lots of jeeps. Nice dog park, had a laundry, cement slabs, table at every site. Had cable TV, & free WIFI. People who ran the park we nice and friendly not rude at all.

In my 16 years of being retired I have never stayed at a RV Park with worse customer service. The owner/manager was rude and unprofessional and down right offensive. When I arrived at the park with my email confirmation in hand from them they said they had lost my reservation and the park was full. When I told him I... More
