We spent four nights at this hotel and enjoyed being on the outskirts of town where there was no congestion or traffic noise...even got a beautiful sunset photo out the window of our room. Comfortable bedding and clean, quiet rooms are of most importance to us and we weren't disappointed. The breakfast was quite sufficient for senior light eaters and... more

Stayed at the HIE, which is very easy to find in Moab, for a home base to explore Arches and the Colorado River. We noticed that they had an inside bike storage area which was a plus for some of the guests. The room was great--good bed and good A/C. The breakfast was amazing for an HIE---eggs, bacon AND sausage--but... more

Mattress was very soft. Breakfast eggs cold. No sausage. I've seen better HIEs. Not really a one dot, but it sure isn't a four. I wonder about the extent to which people conflate their destination and the hotel. more

This hotel is one of the best in Moab and is a good base for seeing Aches and Canyonlands National Parks. The room we had was clean, comfortable and quiet. The service was friendly and the breakfast was above average. more

The good about the place is the proximity to Arches park and the people at the front desk when I checked in. Now the bad.1. There was blood on the comforter and pillowcase on one of the beds so obviously it had not been changed 2. The beds were very uncomfortable 3. The AC cut on and off all night... more

When my wife and I travel, we have very few expectations when it comes to our hotel accomodations. We need a clean room and a comfortable bed at a reasonable price. This Holiday Inn met all criteria easily, and even provided a complimentary breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately, since we don't take advantage of other services, (pool, workout facility, etc.),... more

I spent eight nights at the Moab HIE. The room was comfortable and relaxing after spending days out in the nearby National Parks. The entire stay was good all-around, except for a noticeable drop-off in quality of service on the weekends: 1. Housekeeping did in inadequate job. In one case, they very clearly did NOT clean the bathroom sink, and... more

With the limited choices of brand name hotels in Moab, this is one of the newer ones. Standard HIE, a mile north of downtown Moab. more

This was an excellent choice as a home-base while sightseeing in Canyonlands and Arches. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was courteous. The breakfast that was offered was great, and included hot foods in addition to the usual cold cereals, etc. more
