Stayed a here a couple of nights while we visited Arches National Park and Canyonlands. Cheaper than the chain motels in town with a great location; just off the main drag but close enough to walk. Ideal for restaurants in the evening. Clean rooms (stayed at the back, nice and quiet; the rooster mentioned in previous reviews must have gone!).... more

The Apache is a good place to stay in Moab- off the main drag in a cute little neighborhood, but close enough that you can walk everywhere, big rooms with a little space for gear, bikes, etc. The rooms are dated, and smell a little cleaner-y but with a bit of airing out it's all good. more

We stayed there in 2002, and just decided to look it up on net. Of course it is an older , not fancy property, but it has that charm of having the "Duke" and other stars stay there and was so interesting. The staff as friendly and helpful, it was clean, comfortable and quiet. We didn't have to spend a... more

Older decor but very big room. Nice refridgerator and a Microwave. Breakfast was basic, but it hit the spot. If I really want a real breakfast I'd go to a restaurant. Clerk was helpful. more

The room stunk of roach spray. There was mold everywhere. The air-conditioning unit was very loud; it was difficult to sleep. Towels were grey and disgusting. Breakfast consisted of cheap pastries from a local supermarket. Stay away. more

My husband and I stayed at the Apache for three nights in mid-May and absolutely loved it! We were on a two-week driving vacation all across the South-West and the Apache was by far our favorite hotel of the entire trip (we had deliberately booked individual motels with a little bit of history and charm, instead of the usual characterless... more

My brother, sister-in-law, and I decided to run down to Moab on the spur of the moment early in April when it was still snowy in Colorado. I've always resisted Moab because my family usually visits in the summer and we are not big on crowds, so this seemed like the perfect opportunity. I got a couple of recommendations from... more

I stay at the Apache Motel every time I visit Moab, which is usually once a year. It is one of the cheapest places to stay in town, has always been clean & has a pool which is awesome for cooling off after a long hike. It is also fairly quiet at night and close to the main drag. Highly... more

I booked this hotel because of the promised good beds. What a disappointment: never had such uncomfortable soft beds. Moreover they were that high that you really had to climb in! Didn't feel at home in this motel. A nice treat is the fact that at the reception there is not only coffee the whole day, but allso tea and... more

If you don't mind hard double beds (or so I was told when I called to make a reservation), be sure to request a room with their newer queen beds that are oh, so comfortable! Best motel bed I've ever had the pleasure to sleep on. We were upstairs in the back (#45 - the sun sets on this side),... more
