I love this place. The swimming pool is old fashion, large a deep. The pool is my favorite thing about the Apache. The rooms are cute. Reminds me of the motels in the 70s. Air conditioning is loud. The breakfast used to be better. The place is homey.

The place smells. Its filthy. There a re bugs. The beds are ancient. 25 year old 14 inch TV. Very poor wifi. Basically everything was about as bad as it gets. Too bad they rely upon a past reputation. Its a nice quiet location, but the motel itself is loud. Close to slickrock trail. I was looking forward to staying... More

At some time this has been a top place but now is very run down. Good enough for an overnight stay and economical in an expensive area, superb setting with lovely views and only 15 minutes walk to the main street. Don't look to closely and you can get by, there was good clean linen and a comfy bed but... More

Motel is very very tired. The room was large but that's about it. Our air conditioning unit had a peculiar unpleasant odor. The towels were thin and small. Poor John Wayne. Don't eat the sweet rolls for breakfast. yuck

Well, it looked better on the website photos. It has been around for a long time! That said, it was an OK place to stay. It was clean and the beds were fine and the pool was nice and warm. The price was right, compared to other places in Moab. We never spend a lot of time in a motel... More

We recently stayed at the Appache for 3 nights and found it clean but definitely a no frills kind of place. They did not have a coffee pot on the room (seriously?) and the breakfast was very mediocre. In fact there were so many really neat places to eat in Moab we never had breakfast there. The front office staff... More

The manager Sharon was really nice. In my rush being on a road trip I left my computer tablet behind but they had found it and shipped it back to me. Its a great affordable place if you are passing through like we were. Quaint it is but it worked well for the one night and the price.

We stayed here for one evening and it was fine. We arrived in the evening and for the money a much better deal then any of the chains and it was off the main road so it was quiet. It is very dated......very! Breakfast is amusing .... Pastries in plastic and a pancake on a paper plate. We opted for... More

My family and I stayed Apache Motel while we were on a road trip around southern Utah and Colorado. What appealed to us first about this hotel was the inexpensive rates. Although it is a regular motel, it was charming and in a good location. Our room was a good size, but the decor and furniture were dated and a... More

We visited the Apache four years ago while it was still "quaint", unfortunately, it has fallen into a sorry state. The walls are paper thin, our room smelled of gas (we had to be moved to another room), the refrigerator was not working and we were greeted by a pair of women's panties left on the hanger in the closet....
