We tried calling this place several times and were sent to a voice mail message asking us to leave a message with details. We did so, indicating the size of our rig and the days we wanted to stay along with a request to let us know if that would be a problem. Nobody returned our call, so we assumed... More

Dear AJ, Thank you for taking the time to come to Moab and to Canyonlands Campground. We are sorry our campground was too small for your rig. We were pretty much sold out and do require a paid deposit in order to hold a reservation. I will share your review with the office staff. We can always do better! Have... More

This was a very nice facility with tent sites, cabins, and RV sites. We spent two nights tenting among the cottonwood trees along what I think was the Pack Creek. In late May, the sleeping was so comfortable temperature-wise. We pretty much went to bed shortly after the sun went down and got up with the rising sun. That was... More

Most of the tent sites were shaded, great location right off the main drag, lower level camps were flooded at that time and the pool was small but clean and refreshing, especially in the hot weather after a long hike. Staff was really friendly.

The Rafting outfitter we were using recommended this campground. Reservation phone call went well. Check in was without a hitch although nothing to rave about. Our site was clean and level and everything worked well. No fires at the RV sites. There is a huge difference at RV campground of the expectations of those of us breezing in for a... More

Hi jofarer from Kona, Hawaii Thank you for coming accross the ocean to visit us here in Moab. You are the first person who has ever commented on our aggressive tree planting replacement program. You are very right that we need that shade in summer when it is hot. I appreciate you taking the time to send us your thorough... More

In early October, after the National Parks were closed, I emailed Canyonlands regarding availability. We don't usually reserve but because of the National Park closures, there were a lot of displaced campers looking for alternate accommodation. We don't have a cell phone so i had to find a pay phone (not easy to do in AZ and UT) to give... More

Mark Devine, manager, is a gem. I witnessed another couple at check in who arrived on the wrong date, and the campground was full, they were given a full refund, no questions. Then Mark went out of his way to find them alternate accommodations. We stayed 3 nights, 1 in a camping cabin, great. 2 nights in our tent trailer,... More

We continually pick Canyonlands Rv Park each time we visit Moab. We have stayed at other campgrounds but this one is so conveniently located in town that one can walk to just about everything you need. As with all campgrounds around Moab the interior roads are gravel and get dusty when people drive to fast. To that end management has... More

Hi NW Jeeper, I enjoyed your speed bump review of our park. After reading the review I realized how much attention to detail you noticed. When you said we need more speed bumps I smiled because a lady had just come into the office to complain. She said she would never come here again because the speed bumps knocked the... More

My husband and I have been on an extended road trip across the US from Vermont. We give Canyonlands a 5 star rating......well managed, extremely clean, neat sites, freshly painted picnic tables, clean and spacious bathrooms....even recycling. We have camped in many campgrounds along the way. This one is a definite recommend!!
