I saw the ranch on television about a year ago and instantly knew that Sorrel River Ranch was where my next summer trip would be. The ranch was gorgeous and was right in the Colorado River! The staff was amazing, Danny, Megan and Zac really made our trip what it was. They scheduled all of our activities and made sure... More

We stayed here for two days in August while visiting the Arches National Park. The hotel has a beautiful setting and could be a real piece of paradise but it has many problems that just make it not worth staying there. When we arrived at 4 pm for check in we were told our room was not ready and would not... More

We stayed for the second time in this great hotel near the Colorado river. The first time (in 2008) we stayed in a bungalow overlooking the river, which is definitely worth the extra $. The restaurant has great food for a romantic dinner. Being in a ranch with horses around gives a great feeling. The hotel is just next door... More

We stayed at the Sorrel River Ranch in August during a 3 week tour of America. This involved staying in 9 different hotels. The location and scenery would be difficult to top, it is breath taking. It is very close to Arches National Park which is a must if you are staying here. The cabins are spacious, well equipped and... More

We stayed here for two nights for our anniversary. You can't beat the location. It was very quiet and romantic. We made a point to let the staff know that I was a vegan when we made our dinner reservations many days in advance. I expected a high end resort would have a plan for special diets, but I was... Our good intentions to visit Canonylands was thrashed by the beauty of this Ranch - we decided to enjoy the day there instead. Didn't regret it. We found the service very efficient and friendly and of course the riverfront location was sublime. Great food too with a choice of very high end restaurant or more informal but still top quality.

The hotel is about 17 miles outside of Moab, but the drive leading to the resort is absolutely breathtaking, especially the first five miles or so. The road to the hotel, highway 128, runs next to the colorado river. As you are driving on the road, one side is the river and the back side of the Arch National Park,... More

Very unfriendly the whole time, it cost $$$ x night but they have never changed bed sheets in 5 days! Their policy it to change daily they were so sorry that's what you hear the whole time you complain. The location is stunning and the rooms are nice but it is far to expensive for what it is.

We booked two rooms for five nights, in the scorching August heat. The location on the Colorado River amidst a stunning landscape of mesas and rock towers is breathtaking. The reception is very friendly and stylish. The rooms are spacious and very nice. One of our rooms, however, had no electricity (it was fixed the same day) and no airconditioning... More

July 2014 - Stayed here 2 nights in River View Family - spectacular view of the Colorado River and Adirondack chairs and porch swing wonderful. 2 kitchen chairs in the yard facing the river weren't a great touch but we used them anyway. For $$$$ a night you'd think they could upgrade those a tad. Dog friendly and had bed,... More

Thank you for giving us this feedback. We're glad you mentioned our pet-friendly policies. The kitchen chairs on the lawn must have been placed there by previous guests and then missed by our housekeeping staff. We have numerous outdoor chairs placed at strategic spots around the resort and along the riverwalk, but those are all adirondack chairs and are very... More
