A small campground right in town that is well kept with showers. The sites don't have a lot of privacy which would make the $35 more attractive. Each site has a picnic table. Given the price of hotels in town however the price isn't bad And unlike the blm land, you can walk to town

Campground has no onsite owner or manager. You are left on your own if you have an issue. And even if you call the number you will only get an answering machine. When the manager finally showed up two nights after we arrived, it was to inform us that we needed to move our tent to the left of the... More

Just to clarify - The home page of our website does state "Right in town, just two blocks from Main Street" with a link to a map. Additionally, before making this person's reservation I sent him an email saying: " We are a small, cozy Campground located right in the bustling town of Moab. We are just 2 blocks off... More

Camped here 3 nights in early April 2015 for Easter Jeep Safari. The grounds are clean and simple, if a bit rocky (it is smooth river rock though.) Despite the location near the main drag, noise was not an issue nor was light. In fact, you will certainly need a lantern for your site and a flashlight/headlamp for getting around... More

I camped at Up the Creek Campground while I was on a mountain bike trip. The location is very nice because it is one block from downtown but you feel like you were far away. This is a self check-in & walk-in campground. It might be a hassle for some people to bring their campping stuff with a cart but... More

Very nice campground a couple of blocks away from the center of downtown moab. It may not be the wilderness camping that some people desire, but it is a solid choice if you want the convenience of Moabs restaurants, shops and bars after a long day in the wilderness. The campground was well tended on a daily basis and the... More

Excellent location, a couple blocks off the main street. There's a supermarket very closeby (closer if you go the back way down the next street and avoid the bizarrely complicated front parking lot) and its a short walk to shopping, restaurants, etc. There is a dog park adjacent, as well as a hiking/biking trail. Nearby is a school and despite... More

Just enough off the beaten path to avoid noise of Main Street! Woke up to family of deer dining by the tent every morn. Crazily clean shower and toilet area! Very friendly place with plenty of on site gas stoves for cooking! Excellent for the price!

We stayed here three nights (over Labor day weekend). We loved it! Really happy with the bathroom & shower facilities. Nothing like a hot shower (in a clean bathroom) after a long day or hiking around Arches. Another bonus factor is the big cottonwood trees. Plenty of afternoon shade here. The walk in tent site is a great idea. Really... More

I camped here for 3 nights with my husband and our 2 kids (8 & 5). We were very happy with this campground! I was a little nervous at first because it's right in the middle of Moab. We were all pleasantly surprised. There are about 20 sites I believe. As others have stated, it's a walk-in tent site, which... More

This campground is in the middle of Moab, but you really don't know it while you are there. We stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute. You park your car in the lot and check the board for your name and location - if no one is there and if you have made a reservation. The board explains everything, even... More
