Been meaning to write this review for a few months now. Finally getting around to it, which tells you something right there - I remembered this hotel ad how much I wanted to share this gem with others.

I travel with my dog, so my options are limited. And in Moab, boy oh boy, are those options lilmited. Add to that, not wanting to give blood in order to pay for the room, and well, .... I am lucky to find "decent" accomodations.

The Virginian was more than I expected, more than I paid for, more charm than just about any motel I have stayed in. It is not a new hotel, meaning it was probably built in the 60's or something. It is not on the main strip in Moab, meaning quite. Rooms come with a a kitchenette....remember kitchenettes? Cute cute cute.

Oh yeah, it was also clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. This will be my first choice hotel to stay in every time I pass through Moab without a doubt. more
