We have stayed here for the past three years. In March and April. And although the place is older, the rooms are clean , and they have full size refrigerator, stoves etc. We have always enjoyed our stay. We will stay again next year. So check it out,you will appreciate the price and the owner.

This motel is a nice, clean and affordable place to stay - especially for Moab. We come to Moab to play hard and ride the trails as long as daylight allows, not to sit around in a plush motel getting a massage. This motel is a great place to crash, get a good night sleep and leave to do all... More

Stayed in a kitchenette. The good - The beds were comfortable. No microwave. Only one outlet for both the kitchen and the bathroom, so you dry your hair in the kitchen (disgusting). The sinks were not as clean as they should have been. The pans and dishes appeared to be from Goodwill. The kitchen towel they offered was a rag... More

First of all, we were lucky to have a room as it was the last room availble in Moab that night. 100 $ + taxes. We received room 202, a room for disabled people. The shower was huge but there was a spider looking at us during taking a shower. Not that bad but what we found annoying, were the... More

Motel was in a good location and I second the recommendation for the Mexican place on the corner and across the street. The Pancake Haus is also very good and moved through people quickly. This place is nothing fancy- minimal toiletries but the bathroom and sink area were clean (sink area was a bit cracked and clearly old, but it... More

Dog-friendly and lower rate than most were the reasons we chose The Virginian. At check-in was an unfriendly woman who flipped the old fashion registration card at me and seemed distracted but efficient enough. It's an old style motor inn with parking near the outside doors. Missing was the security of a chain bolt on the inside but Moab felt... More

Loved the kitchenette, and the fact that is was right in town. Rooms were very clean, staff was very nice. Had to look hard for it because there is a sign on the corner that blocks the motel's from main street so keep an eye out.

I have stayed at The Virginian several times over the past 15 years. It makes a great, economical base camp. The local eatery Moab Diner is right across the street, for great green chile and breakfasts. Downtown is an easy walk of a few blocks. The rooms are simple but adequate. Many rooms have kitchenettes, which is great if you... More
