I didn't go to Moab for recreation, I was just passing through and need a place to sleep as it was getting late. To spend over $100 just to sleep and shower is insane to me. This place was a more reasonable $69 + tax. The first thing I noticed when I opened the door was the wonderful smell. I... More

It's weird when every other motel has a full parking lot and the Virginia motel had no one in it. But I figured it probably be the cheapest place in town, which I was right. I think it might just be mismanaged but the room squeaky clean, no bed bugs, cheep, comfy beds, refrigerator microwave and coffee in the room.... More

Got into Moab without motel reservation. We thought we might sleep in the car somewhere, but agreed to try motels in town. Couldn't believe the prices on town. Most had no vacancy, and the available ones were $130, $112, and so on per night. We lucked out at the Virginian. $66 plus tax (so, $72 altogether). Yes, some of the... More

This is a 1970's type of motel with unexpected amenities such as a compact full kitchen with a full size refrigerator. The rooms were clean and up to date. Step out the door and you are in the middle of Moab with most everything in walking distance. The management were friendly and helpful. The best was the cost of the... More

We had ants in our room, shared pictures on here and now it has been disappeared? Briefly again. We stayed here in Octobre and we were lucky to have a sleeping spot in Moab ... but that was it. It was a dirty place with 100th's of ants in our room! BEWARE

Everything in Moab in late May is expensive. Going on the favorable reviews of others, we decided to save a little and stay here. Not sure I would do that again, and glad that we were only spending one night. I would say you get what you pay for, but we paid more for this hotel than we did for... More

Moab in late May is expensive, so I didn't expect too much from a room that was half the price of many of the others. The Virginian had no amenities at all, but at least it was clean, no smells, no noise, and it was located very well, walking distance from restaurants on the main drag. It also had free... More

We have stayed here for the past three years. In March and April. And although the place is older, the rooms are clean , and they have full size refrigerator, stoves etc. We have always enjoyed our stay. We will stay again next year. So check it out,you will appreciate the price and the owner.

This motel is a nice, clean and affordable place to stay - especially for Moab. We come to Moab to play hard and ride the trails as long as daylight allows, not to sit around in a plush motel getting a massage. This motel is a great place to crash, get a good night sleep and leave to do all... More

Stayed in a kitchenette. The good - The beds were comfortable. No microwave. Only one outlet for both the kitchen and the bathroom, so you dry your hair in the kitchen (disgusting). The sinks were not as clean as they should have been. The pans and dishes appeared to be from Goodwill. The kitchen towel they offered was a rag... More
