Gonzo Inn went condo a couple of years ago, and it seems to work very well. But it's possible the decor and quality may vary from unit owner to owner. For our November visit, we stayed in a corner ground-level suite in the second building. Off-season rates are a bargain, and Moab is quite accommodating with no crowds, short waits... more

We were given a dark depressing suite on the first floor behind reception. Supposedly a colorful unique suite, as their pamphlet promises. Good thing we didn't spend much time in it. It was also loud, we were woken up by the neighbors' packing at 6am! The next morning we told the front desk clerk that our experience had been a... more

This was over 3 years ago. Hopefully they have changed them out! We choose it for it's "dogs welcome" policy. Never, ever again. Noisy A/C and rock hard bed! Nice yard for our dog to play in. He liked it. more

The Gonzo was a fun, trendy inn. We stayed in a suite and had a kitchen and separate bedroom. I appreciated the the separate bedroom was truly separate as many inns advertise that their suites have a separate bedroom and they are not. The rooms were decorated in a hip style, not your typical cookie-cutter interior decorating. The pool was... more

My family with teenagers mark the calender with how many days we get to stay at the Gonzo Inn, which we have done for 9 years of their 17 year lives. Best location, the Gonzo is like Moab itself- unique, fun and a state of mind. Give me the walk in showers and a Gonzo Robe over tthe Four Seasons... more

Check in was simple and parking easy. Our room had a cathedral ceiling and small balcony and overall plenty of space. Great shower. Staying for 3 nights, the same breakfast selections got a little old, but still more than adequate. Location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. The decor makes this hotel a bit more fun than the... more

We chose to visit the Gonzo Inn simply because of the sign on the street! We couldn't have been happier! We only planned to stay one night and checked out the next a.m., however, after a day of hiking, we decided to go back to the Gonzo Inn and stay another night! Really a nice place if you are looking... more

Only 1 block off the commercial strip, but seems like another world, in a quiet, leafy green residential area. Yet when you want to eat, drink, or shop, the commercial strip is just a short stroll away. Standard motel amenities and comfort level, dressed up in "industrial-chic" decor (lots of steel and concrete). A lot more interesting than another faux-colonial... more

Stayed at the Gonzo for 3 nights and loved it. Clean room and hotel. Nice pool that faces a quiet street. Great location for walking to restaurants and shops. I thought the hotel was a nice quiet place to relax after a day of hiking or being on the river. It was over 100 degrees during our stay in Moab... more

The location was perfect for getting to restaurants after a long day hiking in the sun. Room was cozy & quiet. Good basic breakfast was part of price. Staff was not terribly friendly, especially when they closed the pool for most of our stay and offered no apology. Frig in room would have been nice and friends at cheaper hotel... more
