I stayed here for 4 nights in January while exploring the area. The property was well maintained, and the room was clean and had a cute personality. The bathrooms were very nice, and you can tell that care has been taken by the staff. That said, there was nowhere in the room that was comfortable to sit. The choices were... More

Great location in the middle of town; within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, etc.. Neat hotel with lots of individual, custom touches and decor. We had a room on the bottom floor near the back/end of the hotel and it was great. Big grass area to walk dogs, opened right onto a paved path for walking. I was worried... More

Nice place but if you decide to stay make sure your room is on the second floor. The first floor hears the floor above and it's loud. Our neighbors upstairs had 3 large dogs staying with them the first couple of nights which was pretty rough. They serve a pretty simple breakfast with bagles, fruit and cereal. The bed was comfortable... More

We have stayed there 3 times and have enjoyed it every time. Very large room, very cozy, very helpful and friendly staff. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Moab. My 8 year old loved the heated pool when it was 35 degrees outside at night.

This hotel is right in the heart of town... but down a side street behind a local chain hotel. So, the noise is minimal! You can walk in literally 5 - 10 minutes to exceptional places to eat and that's what we wanted, a place where we could walk within the town. The Gonzo has a nice outdoor pool and... More

My wife and two teenage boys spent 3 nights at the Gonzo in late June, 2014. We had a first-floor suite which opened to a small porch just steps from the pool. Proximity to pool meant some late-evening revelry noise, but that comes with the territory. Very pleased with our suite. Spacious bedroom, clean updated bathroom. Quirky decor of room... More

As others mentioned, requesting a room facing the back lawn or pool will reduce noise and improve the overall "feel" of your stay. Unfortunately, we requested a room in the back, and when we arrived, we were told there were no options available. Overall, the room we were given was comfortable. The shower was hot with good water pressure. The... More

Your stay at Gonzo will somewhat be based on the room you get. Our first room looked at a metal wall just off the parking lot (room 120). We could not imagine anyone wanting to stay in this room. We requested a change and ended up in Room 214 which was great. We had a small balcony. The bed was... More

2 stays here. Requested same room. A suite with nice grass area off patio. A bit dated, but the linens are top notch with exception of pillows; my only real complaint. For a hotel charging in the near 200$ range, pillow options other than stiff foam is a no brainier. Heck, keep a few downs in closet. Both times I... More

After staying in chain hotels in two towns in Utah, it was a pleasure to check in at the Gonzo Inn. The hotel is off the main boulevard and each room has a private balcony. If you are lucky enough, yours will face the rear of the hotel which opens onto a large green lawn. Pets are allowed at the... More
