We stayed at the Castle Valley Inn for three nights. The Inn is located about 16 miles from Moab, via a stupendous road with the Colorado River on one side and awesome views of towering red rock cliffs. That being said, the Inn is a treasure set among an apple tree orchard in a very quiet valley. The accommodations were... More

Great remote location about 20 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Moab on the weekend. Great facilities, roomy with kitchen. The hospitality from David and Sherri was wonderful and just went overboard to make the stay special. They provided a healthy and filling breakfast. Great views of the cliffs among an apple orchard. David also suggested the Red... More

We stayed here only one night because we were on a quick trip with an end destination of visiting family, but we will definitely be back. Situated on beautiful acreage surrounded by gorgeous red canyon walls, this place was an ideal retreat from the hectic road. The managers, Dave and Sherry (sp?), were so friendly, but not overwhelmingly so. They... More

Nice room the first two nights. Private bath down the hall but plenty of room. Wonderful property. Red rock views. Apple orchard on property. Manager couple, David and Cheri, couldn't have been nicer. Moved to a room with bath for the third night and the owners took over for the managers to give them a night off. This room had... More

Take a small, green valley. Drop it between the beautiful red cliffs that surround Moab and Arches. Now add an Inn, quiet, serene and well kept. Finally, into the mix goes four of the nicest innkeepers and staff I have ever met, and a breakfast fit for royalty. Toss it all together and you have the Castle Valley Inn B&B.... More

If you want to visit Arches or Canyonlands and avoid the backpacker brashness of Moab, Castle Valley Inn is a green oasis of peace only 20 minutes away from Arches. Even that drive is extraordinary as the scenic highway snakes along the Colorado River between towering red cliffs. The Inn is set in five acres, much of it apple trees... More

Wonderfully kept and located in idyllic valley setting surrounded by Canyonlands. Casual and welcoming. European feeling to it though the rooms are nicely decorated with Navajo furniture. Well thought out and run small hotel/b&b with excellent freshly prepared food. There is an extremely talented baker - make sure you sample the goodies set out in the sitting area! We had... More

If you're looking for the best home base for a trip to Moab/Arches/Canyonlands, this is it. Castle Valley is 20 minutes or so from Moab/Arches, but the commute is breathtaking (along the Colorado River between bright red cliffs). The Inn is on five acres (an apple orchard) with 360 degree stunning views of what you come to Moab to see.... More

We loved our brief stay at Castle Valley Inn! The managers were wonderful--very friendly and helpful. The breakfast they cooked was delicious and kept us full all day as we went on some strenuous hikes. David also recommended a great place for dinner. All in all, we couldn't ask for anything better.

We spent four nights to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and we were not disappointed! The innkeepers were gracious and friendly and very helpful to point us in the right direction for activities--scenic drives, hikes, etc. The food was delicious, and the setting very intimate. Every detail was carefully thought out. We had no cell phone service, but each room has... More
