My husband and I went for a romantic weekend getaway, and felt completely pampered. When we first arrived, it was a bit late and we had brought a picnic dinner with bottle of wine. The hosts gladly provided us with wine glasses, plates and silverware in a lovely little dining room all to ourselves. From the thick fluffy towels, fine... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Laurel Lodge and it was wonderful! The room was very clean and Chris was a wonderful host. Our view overlooking the Appalachian mountains was breath taking. We were able to walk into town and hike for a bit in the evening. Breakfast was delicious. My husband and I continued our anniversary trip... More

Stunning B&B. Very comfortable and extremely atmospheric. The furnishings and decoration are of first class standard. Beds are so comfortable I wanted to take them home. The welcome and hospitality were faultless. Breakfast was tremendous and the coffee was excellent. With wonderful views and great history we thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

It doesn't get any better than this. The Lodge itself is spectacular, but the view of the Potomac is stunning. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfast is gourmet and the hosts are very welcoming. I travel here for business frequently, and I will be back!

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. The Lodge was old built in the early 1900s. It has been renovated and period furniture graces the rooms. It was a pleasure to stay there. The view from the back porch was breath taking. We saw bald eagles right in front of us. The two course breakfast was wonderful. The proprietors very knowledgeable and helpful. You... More

Excellent accommodations, beautiful home, great food and hospitality. Great view out back balcony and with-in walking distance of Harpers Ferry park/attractions. Would definitely stay there again. The proprietors were attentive and helpful with area attractions....and did I say the breakfast's were outstanding. Attention to detail is impressive.

My husband and I just got home from a wonderful weekend at the Laurel Lodge, and we are sure to return. The property is a Craftsman-style home with unique and quirky details at every turn. Each room is perfectly appointed and is as comfortable as it is handsome. We stayed in the Cedar View room, which offers an unparalleled view... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Laurel Lodge in May of 2014. From the moment we entered, we were welcomed by one of the owners, Chris, who gave us a tour and a history of the home. After the tour he showed us to the dining room area where he had gluten free chocolate cake waiting for me. I... More

We just stayed at the Laurel Lodge this last week. The house is beautiful. It has such an interesting history. The views from the back porch, the dinning area and our room were stunning. The best part of our stay by far, however, was the hospitality of Chris and Ed. Chris immediately made us feel welcome. He made sure every... More

We spent a pleasant night at the Laurel Lodge in the Pine View room. The bed was comfy with luxurious sheets, the three course breakfast was wonderful, and Chris, the innkeeper was informative and helpful. The lodge is also known for the various curios built into the structure and it was fun to discover all the surprises hidden around the... More
