The lodge sits on top of the most wonderful views of the Pontomac River. It is a small B&B which is run with military precision by Chris and his partner. The rooms are so totally immaculate with all of the facilities of a major 5 star hotel AND the tastiest cake ever meets you when you return from a day... More

Beautiful location and fantastic bed and breakfast. We wanted a close get away for our 25th anniversary and Laurel Lodge was a wonderful place to stay. Easy walking distance to historic sites in Harpers Ferry. Clean, comfortable rooms and very hospitable host, Chris make the stay very enjoyable. Gourmet breakfast each morning was a high point of our stay. On... More

This was the first place we stayed on a recent tour of Virginia and West Virginia. It set a high standard! The house itself is fascinating: built in the early 20C with lots of quirky features. Be sure to take the self-guided tour. If my house was this lovely, I wouldn't want to share it, but I'm so glad Chris... More

My husband and I went for a romantic weekend getaway, and felt completely pampered. When we first arrived, it was a bit late and we had brought a picnic dinner with bottle of wine. The hosts gladly provided us with wine glasses, plates and silverware in a lovely little dining room all to ourselves. From the thick fluffy towels, fine... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Laurel Lodge and it was wonderful! The room was very clean and Chris was a wonderful host. Our view overlooking the Appalachian mountains was breath taking. We were able to walk into town and hike for a bit in the evening. Breakfast was delicious. My husband and I continued our anniversary trip... More

Stunning B&B. Very comfortable and extremely atmospheric. The furnishings and decoration are of first class standard. Beds are so comfortable I wanted to take them home. The welcome and hospitality were faultless. Breakfast was tremendous and the coffee was excellent. With wonderful views and great history we thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

It doesn't get any better than this. The Lodge itself is spectacular, but the view of the Potomac is stunning. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. The breakfast is gourmet and the hosts are very welcoming. I travel here for business frequently, and I will be back!

Beautiful. Beautiful. Beautiful. The Lodge was old built in the early 1900s. It has been renovated and period furniture graces the rooms. It was a pleasure to stay there. The view from the back porch was breath taking. We saw bald eagles right in front of us. The two course breakfast was wonderful. The proprietors very knowledgeable and helpful. You... More
