Let's just say my family will DEFINITELY keep this on the list of places to visit again. The owners are both lovely, and have an extreme attention to detail (including the fact that they have prepared a tour of all the curios in the walls of the building). The rooms are clean, and quiet. There is a shared bathroom between... More

Beautiful room overlooking the Potomac. Excellent food. Friendly owners who pay attention to detail on many levels. Good value in the price. Location is close enough for a long walk to downtown Harper's Ferry and a few minutes to drive.

Up in the hill and overlooking the Potomac place, this is a very good bed and breakfast. The rooms are airy and spacious and most of them have a great view. It is pretty well maintained and has some classy touches. Great breakfast.

This is a spectacular place to stay if you are a couple getting away or you have several days to relax, but not really for two people needing a place to rest from the GAP ride. After carrying your bikes up the spiral staircase to the bridge in harpers ferry you would have thought you were pretty close.... But no.... More

The house is cozy and eclectic. Our room was spacious. There is great attention to detail by the Innkeepers. They give you an extensive orientation to the house on arrival. The breakfast was gourmet! There is a train nearby which did not bother us at all even with windows open. Perfection!

Gorgeous craftsman/mission decor, panoramic views of the Potomac and Maryland Heights, scrumptious breakfasts and late afternoon snacks: just three reasons that Laurel Lodge is the place to stay in Harper's Ferry. A little off the beaten path, but that just means it's quiet and you can walk to Washington Street in less than five minutes and then stroll to the... More

Stayed 2 nights with 2 other couples at Laurel Lodge. The lodge is a lovely b and b in Harpers Ferry, just a bit of a walk to the little "downtown" area. The lodge is large and lovely and beautifully appointed with lovely furniture. The hosts Chris and Ed are welcoming and accommodating in every way. They provide many amenities... More

Truly an outstanding B&B. The house is beautiful, the view from the back porch is stunning and Chris was the perfect host. The rooms were nicely appointed and the housekeeping is meticulous. The 3-course breakfasts were stellar - on our last day, we had homemade coffee cake, roasted grapefruit and a frittata - wow !! We hiked the Maryland Heights... More

Everything was perfect. Rooms very clean, food was excellent, views were beautiful! Chris was attentive to all of our needs and very helpful. If you are coming on bicycles, it is at the top of a 3/4 mile hill, but it was worth it.

Wonderfully comfortable rooms, we even spotted the bald eagles upon our arrival. The owners had chocolate strawberries, a rose, and sparkling lemonade waiting for us. The breakfasts are fresh, local, and delicious! The house itself has a fascinating history. Plus, we were able to easily walk to downtown Harper's Ferry. I would absolutely stay again!
