Before we arrived, we where surprised by a phone call from the inn keeper, they had called a local winery and arranged for us to have a compimentary tasting before our arrival at the bed and breakfast. Upon our arrival our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, what more can you ask for? We had a bottle of wine an... More

Great view, great food, and Chad was very welcoming and hospitable. Not only did he upgrade us to a nicer room for free, he also offered to lend us his truck. I really enjoyed the breakfast, the sitting in front of the fireplace in the evening, and being close to the old town and Appalachian Trail.

Imagine you are snuggling up in your cozy hotel bed after a long day - only to find some guy's dirty underwear stuck in between your feet under the (apparently still dirty) sheets. Kind of gross isn't it? And will a meagre 17% discount work as an apology? Well, not for me. Add the mind-blowing noise from honking trains throughout... More

We feel terribly about this experience but we can say in all honesty that this is a case of static cling. We wash every sheet set and every towel after every use. We do our best to keep linens separate but occasionally the linens conspire against us. We were truly embarrassed by the situation and gave them a 20% discount.... More

The Ledge House operated by Chad and Kari is warm and welcoming. Chad is an excellent cook, and Kari an informative advisor on all things in the area. She gave us a wonderful recommendation for a walk, and Chad made a fabulous eggs Benedict! Highly recommend the room upstairs with the private deck. It has a lovely large bath and... More

If you want views, this is the place to stay - hands down! Each room has incredible views of where the rivers meet in Harper's Ferry. There is even a large deck to gather during more pleasant weather that looks right out over the town and to the wonderful view of the railroad tunnel in the distance. We have stayed... More

The Ledge House Bed and Breakfast was everything you hope a weekend getaway to be. The house itself is located right in the heart of historic Harpers Ferry, overlooking the old rail bridge that shoots into the scenic mountainside. My girlfriend and I stayed there in early November, and the house could not have been more cozy. The foyer is... More

This BnB is wonderful. The hosts are great and the walking distance to the heart of Harpers Ferry is less than 3 minutes. The house is beautiful, cozy, and clean. I would definitely recommend staying here! I gave a 4 out of 5 because the breakfast was a bit simple. It would have been nice to have either fresh fruit... More

My husband and I were pretty shocked by the poor service by Chad, the owner of this B&B. In fact, I've never encountered such a hostel B&B owner before. We go to Harper's Ferry every fall, but we'll never approach this Inn again. Here's why: After initially reserving us one of their rental houses, Chad then cancelled our reservation via... More

Stayed in Suite 2 for two nights. Very private balcony, lovely view of both rivers. Room is large with hardwood floors. Lots of windows. Great breakfast.. Friendly but unobtrusive hosts. Great location, 5 minute walk to Lower Town, short walk to hiking trails. Only downside -- the bed needs a new mattress!

We spent two days at the Ledge House B & B and we enjoyed everything about it. Our stay was in Suite 2 on the second floor with a private bath. It had a King bed and a sitting room that opened onto a small balcony overlooking the river. The view was outstanding. Our hosts were great and the breakfast... More
