Nice big campground. Lots of great activities for the kids and cool amenities. Bathrooms were clean and private. Private shower rooms! (Note-either shower at night or early morning; they were pretty messy by 10am cleaning time) Staff was helpful and friendly. Camp store had a little of everything. Movies played in the movie theater were good (Up! RV. Grease) We'll... More

Stayed at Harpers Ferry KOA over Easter Weekend with our 3 boys ages 6, 11 and 14. We stayed in our 30 foot travel trailer. Like most KOA's, the campground is clean and maintained and full of amenities. They charge an $8 daily activities fee, but I feel we got our money's worth out of this fee since we took... More

We came in mid-winter (during a polar vortex) and stayed in one of the Kottages. We had a really nice time. The room was nice and stayed warm enough considering the extreme cold. Staff was friendly and the rates were reasonable.

Our site was WAY TOO SMALL. We have a pop-up camper and we still felt very cramped! The campers next to us had a small rv and they couldn't even open their slide outs without hitting a tree on one side and their canopy overlapped their neighbor's site. Staff was very nice, friendly and helpful. Camp store was a bit... More

We tried for a weekend camp out but Halloween is a big thing at this KOA. People reserve weekends a year in advance to stay. We arrived on Sunday for a 5 nite stay. Due to so many reservations we were put out front near the entrance. A good spot but definitely noisy with all the deliveries and campers coming... More

This campground is not far from home, such a nice drive and so pretty. Even though I'm "glamping" in my large motorhome, I still love the outdoors and beautiful trees. The big rig area in the front is a little tight, but there plenty of nice woodsy sites in the back, or to the right of the office and we... More

My wife and I have been tent campers for many years. We usually choose state parks and have never stayed at a KOA although we have passed by many along our travels. They just never appealed to me for what appeared to be crowded sites and too much commercialism in the experience. We made a reservation at the Harpers Ferry... More

Two words--NEVER AGAIN! My husband and I love to camp. We are mostly used to camping in more remote areas, but there are times when we travel that we know it's just not possible. We reluctantly stayed at the Harpers Ferry KOA because we needed electric and wi-fi so we could complete some school work. Everything started out okay, but... More

The park was overcrowded. Many campers had no etiquette; would walk right through your campsite, blind you at night with golf cart lights, & trash thrown on the grounds. Went during Civil War Weekend and they started firing cannons and muskets at 930-1000 at night. Will not be returning to this camp.

We spent one night there instead of two , as originally planned. It was raining when we arrived , which can not be changed by any human. In addition to the rain , there were no campground activities mid-week , wi-fi connection was spotty and slow. The part of the camp we were directed to has many large trees ,... More
