My family and I stay at Harpers Ferry KOA every Halloween and 4th of July. After today,we will never return there again. Harpers Ferry use to be my favorite place. The KOA has alot of dead trees and once my cousin was sitting down in his chair and lucky for use he had gotten up 5 seconds before a big... More

My family and I camped here for the 4th of July and we have mixed feelings. As others have noted, the spots are very small. We pitched two tents and trying to find a suitable flat surface was not possible. There is significant water(?) erosion throughout out so there are ankle breaking ruts all over. The campground is really crowded... More

My family had a small reunion here. I stayed in a cabin and my brothers each had their own RV's with them. My cabin was small but nice. It had a queen size bed and there was a small room off the back with two bunk beds in it, so the unit slept four people. It had a small bathroom,... More

We recently spent three nights in a camping cabin here. Although it was a one-room cabin, it slept five. Unlike some of the other KOA camping cabins we've stayed in there was no small fridge and no TV (surprisingly, more and more camping cabins are getting TVs). The cabin did have a/c, and it was relatively clean (although dated). When... More

Overall, this was a nice campground and we would return again. But, there are a few things that would have made this stay better. First, as you read in other reviews, the sites are very small and cramped. The fire ring for the site behind us was just outside our bedroom window! Fortunately, our neighbors moved it before firing it... More

We decided to rent two cabins for four adults and two kids. While the cabins are fairly small, this was enough room for the weekend. The campground has plenty to do including a heated pool, bounce are, and bike rentals. The kids had a great time and with wine tastings the adults did too. Overall a great experience. I will... More

The place packs you in...even the pull-through sites. This was just too close for comfort; in order to uncouple and recouple,we had to hold up traffic, then park our vehicle perpendicular to our camper. We left early in the morning so that we could do this at our own pace. Having said that, the location was perfect for us, since... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away in Harpers Ferry KOA. The kids loved the playground, huge trampoline, free pancake breakfast, mini golf, and riding bikes around the area. We just went and it was fairly crowded so I can understand how peak season would be a bit much. The staff was incredibly kind, and even gave us complimentary dog treats for... More

First things first - the kids loved this campground. So much to do, from the jumpy pillow, to the basketball courts and arcade...Our 11 year old and 10 year old loved the campground. Everyone we dealt with was very nice and accommodating, and you get the feeling that the employees really want you to have a good time. The camp... More

We did a Civil War trip and visited lots of battlefields in the area, so this KOA was a great base for Harpers Ferry, Antietam, Monocacy, Gettysburg and Manassas. We had a great stay . It was a lovely area and we could walk to the Harpers Ferry National Historic Park, which we also really enjoyed! Only issue was the... More
