Such a wonderful place to stay! The people were so nice and friendly. Breakfast was amazing. In a beautiful and convenient location, two minutes away from downtown Harpers Ferry, and 20 minutes away from Fredrick and Shepherdstown! The house is modern and very clean.

Great B&B! Wonderful owners with tasteful decor. If you are looking for a get-away weekend but want to feel like you went abroad, stay at the West Ridge Hollow B&B. This quaint yellow and blue house has a modern decor. Mexican accent pieces make up the space. A spotless house, nothing to complain about. We stayed in the basement suite.... More

My husband and I needed indescribable peace and we received it here. Jeff being a coal miner, was close to his wit's end and in need of a huge break, especially with dealing with his beloved uncle's death from pancreatic cancer. I also had very recently learned of my own mother discovery of her liver disease and pancreatic cancer. The... More

We visited from nearby in Virginia, but hadn't been to Harper's Ferry in a few years, and never stayed at a b&b. This was a great choice for our anniversary staycation! We stayed on a Sunday in the basement suite. During the day we hiked Maryland heights, so came back in the late afternoon and relaxed in the hammocks and... More

We had a lovely, peaceful overnight stay at West Ridge Hollow. We especially enjoyed laying out in hammocks listening to all the birds while looking out on the backyard. Very clean, modern home with nice decor and in a super convenient location for seeing Harper's Ferry as well. Had a nice breakfast and chat with Peggy, who was a great... More

We had a great time at the Hollow, stayed for a night around our anniversary to get out of the city for a couple days. It's a short walk from some of the best restaurants in town, and a healthy hike or quick drive down to all the historic attractions in Harper's Ferry. There was plenty to do at the... More

We stayed one night, having come to Harper's Ferry for some hiking the next day. The house itself is very roomy and modern, with a living room that overlooked a historic ridge that was highly contested territory during the Civil War. The owners are Jay and Peggy, an extremely engaging, gracious, intelligent, and friendly couple, and as a bonus, Jay... More

Stayed one night in the very lovely Forrest Room, which was very clean and pleasant. The house was unexpectedly a newer home, with everything in working order. The hosts were awesome!...very welcoming, and offered much information about local history, local hiking activity, etc...they felt like close friends by the 2nd day:)

My boyfriend and I are very young (early 20's), and as we were brainstorming for something nice to do over the weekend we stumbled upon West Ridge Hollow. We rented the bottom floor for two nights. I was initially apprehensive about spending the night in this woman's home, but I am certainly over that now! Peggy was a very lovely... More

Overall the experience was good. The place is clean. It's basically just a big, modern house. Nice decor. We had the bottom floor to ourselves, which includes the bedroom, a private bathroom, a living room area with a pool table, a sauna (which we didn't use), and a full size refrigerator. The breakfast was delicious, however the second morning's meal... More
