We had a lovely weekend at The Angler's Inn. Debbi and Bryan were lovely hosts, and the homemade cookies and delicious breakfasts were a real highlight. The Inn is near plenty of highlights in town, including the National Park, and Shepherdstown and Antietam are close by. We stayed in the McKenzie and Remington rooms, and I'd say our favorite was... Comfortable beds and pleasant rooms - not claustrophobically stuffed with fussy nicknacks. Delicious breakfasts - we especially liked the eggs, grits and wilted greens. Soft drinks and tasty homemade chocolate chip cookies in the "parlor" every afternoon. Chatty hostess with lots of suggestions for local things to do. Ten minute walk down the hill to the old historic area. We... More

Just what my wife and I needed! A lovely relaxing stay in this little gem. A world away from the busy routine of our lives. Thanks to Debbie for welcoming us and making us feel like special guests. The breakfasts she serves are marvelous. The location is superb for all the outdoor activities that Harpers Ferry has to offer. I... More

First off the cookies really are as good as the website says! We went for the cookies and stayed for Debbie and her marvelous breakfasts. Every morning there was a marvelous two course breakfast made up of some type of fruit dish with mini muffins and then a protein and a main dish. Even if I were in town for... More

We had a delightful stay here. Debbie was so welcoming and gave us a very nice room off of the dining room, with a patio off of it. She had freshly baked cookies in the living room. In the morning she had made delicious French toast, and it was so nice to meet the other guests and share stories of... More

We (couple, 45, no pets or kids, non smokers, travel frequently) stayed at this Inn to combine a weekend get away with a guided fly fishing trip through the Inn's guided service, White Fly Outfitters. This is our 4 th year visiting the Inn and fishing. Debbie runs a wonderful bed and breakfast experience! The rooms are very cozy but... More

We chose this B&B because it was the only one that had a room available but this turned out to be a very good choice. It is a nice old Victorian house. The owners live in a garage home behind the main house. I believe there are 4 bedroom suites. Downstairs is a sitting area with cookies and sodas available.... More

We’re delighted to know you enjoyed your visit with us! We are so blessed to have been passed a family heirloom bedroom set, just about 2 weeks after you stayed. So the Washington Room has a Queen bed now in the main guest room! We invite you to check out the new pictures at our website. Thank you for taking... More

My brother and I wanted to fish with an expert guide in the most beautiful part of the Potomac River as it passes Harpers Ferry, WV and converges with the Shenandanoah River. We also wanted to enjoy the view from the river of this historic and venerable town. Caught lots of small mouth bass under the instruction of expert guides... More

We stayed here while riding the C&O Towpath trail. First, the B&B is located at the top of a very long, steep hill (about a mile). There is no shuttle service available, so we had to ride/walk there with our bikes. While the location is actually removed from the more historic Harpers Ferry "lower" town, there is a thriving Bolivar... More

Very comfortable accommodations and welcoming host who made us feel totally relaxed and "at home". Love that each room has separate "sitting room" to relax and read. Host let me take book home I picked up in the parlor and started to read. Am returning it via US post tomorrow. Lovely porch and rockers to sit in and enjoy a... More
