We didn't know that the bathtub/shower would be right in our bedroom. Also, our toilet was in a closet! We were there in March, and it was cold going to the bathroom. The room also tended to be cold. (Maybe because our room was over the front porch?) We did enjoy the food, even though the hostess forgot that David... More

Thank you for the wonderful place to stay and for working with our dietary needs. Gluten-free vegetarian can be hard to work with, but breakfast was amazing both mornings! We're both particular about using natural toiletries, and everything exceeded our standards.

When a spring break Caribbean adventure was cancelled due to family illness, The Pinehurst Inn saved the day! Lovely room, amazing food, and Inn Keepers who knew how to run a high quality, highly efficient, GREEN B&B! Thank you so much we will be back to Bayfield in the summer to partake in the festivities your beautiful community has to... More

My husband and I stayed here (the Birches room) for our trip to the apostle island ice caves. It was the perfect place to recuperate after the long hike! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the common room was nice and had (very yummy!) tea on hand as well as movies to watch. There was a day spa right down... More

We stayed in the newer guest house (Brownstone room) and enjoyed the large 2-person Jacuzzi tub, very nice bed and wonderful in-floor heating system and gas fireplace, each on separate thermostats. We could keep the floor heat at 66 at night and the fireplace as warm as we wanted in the morning or evening. There are at least 4 or... More

Arriving at night it was tricky to find. I was given a room called Brownstone in the new annex building. First thing you notice is the fireplace and jacuzzi dominating the room. There's also a shower with luxurious towels and a private balcony. The bed was okay but the pillows were forgettable. There are no other amenities in the room,... More

Our latest trip to Pinehurst Inn was Valentine's Day weekend. (I've been staying with Steve and Nancy for 16 years now!) A trip to the Sea Caves at Cornucopia and a trip across Chequamegon Bay on XC skis for Book Across The Bay added some extra fun and enjoyment to our winter weekend. Traveling companions Dan and Carol also took... More

Nancy & Steve were very gracious hosts. You can tell the pride they take in their beautiful property. Thanks, Steve, for being our accurate, caring weatherman during the snowstorm! (Dave says snow looks soooo much better when he doesn't have to shovel it) Our room 'The Brownstone' was perfect & very spacious for a b&b. Loved the tile around the... More

Everything was wonderful! Steve and Nancy are wonderful hosts, excellent cooks, and fun to talk to. I did not want the weekend to end. We found ourselves many times saying, as we were out exploring the area, "Let's head back home" - and that's what it felt like. We stayed in RD Pike and it was lovely. The sheets on... More

We came up from Chicago at the end of January to see the amazing Lake Superior ice caves, learn to dog sled with Wolfsong Adventures in Mushing and volunteer in the Sled Dog races. This was the best two day vacation ever! We packed it in. The Whispering Pines room was very comfortable and offered a view of the sunrise... More
