We stayed in unit #5. It was set apart from the other rooms and we found it to be quiet, clean and nice. The bathroom and shower are a little small (built for hobits, I think) but manageable. The unit has a microwave and sink as a small kitchenette with a set of 4 of everything.. We found it a... More

This was a great place for us to stay on our recent trip to Bayfield. It is located right on the harbor, easy walking to restaurants, the harbor, the park, marinas and shops. We were in room 16, it's a corner room with a private bath. It is by no means large - but it was clean, brightly decorated and... More

Clean, decent-sized room (14), perfectly located, among least-expensive places in town. Couldn't ask for much more for the price. Wi-fi was all but unusable and A/C was loud, but those things are far outweighed by the good.

My husband and another couple stayed in room 8A this past weekend and loved it. The room was very spacious and very adequate for two couples. Everything was clean and looked new and fresh, and the view of the harbor was great. We were within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. We had a microwave, refrigerator and coffee... We stayed in room 4 about 5 years ago and loved it-very quiet, great location, great price. We stayed there again last weekend, and nothing has changed! Still very quiet-all rooms on the second floor were full and we could not hear our neighbors at all (not tv noise, water, or antthing else you might be able to hear). Same... More

Nice quaint place that is clean but very tiny. Asked for a king room but was told only queens were left, ok sure we'll take it. Got to our room only to find out it was a full size bed. Free wifi available, but you have to sit on porch in front of office to use it. No in room... More

Directly across from the Ferry to Madeline Island, so just a short walk or the perfect spot to sit in one of their Adirondack chairs on the lawn by one of the flower gardens. No need to look for parking when on your summer visit to this favorite destination on Lake Superior as shopping, dining and sightseeing are all just... More

Stayed here on a recent visit to the Apostle Islands. Right across from the marina and great views of the water. Rates were good, room was clean but decor was a little dated. And as an old house, it had some sloped floors and quirky architecture. Staff was friendly and helpful about local info.

Stayed here on a recent business trip. If you don't want to walk too far, this is the place to stay -- across the street from the Madeline Island Ferry, right near the waterfront and the main commercial street. The rooms were a little small, but comfortable. WiFi was free and a little slow at times, but not terrible. A... More

Quaint, I ain't, but the room was. This renovated house is directly across the street from Bayfield Marina. Room was tidy, but quaint. It was comfy, but quaint. My wife thought it cozy. The shower was tiny but water was hot. It served a purpose. And that was to enjoy the Apostles. And that we did. So, I guess if... More
