We booked this room on a last minute cancellation for the Applefest that happens every year in town. The woman that hubby talked to on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived she gavves us apples and talked through several pamphlets showing local attractions and restaurants. This motel is right in the heart of the town and... More

This is a good decent stay but is just average in a town that depends on the charm and character of this beautiful area. Our stay was short on amenities such as no microwave which we were told we would have and a wifi signal that was so weak we had to sit outside to join and use. The location... More

If you seek solitude yet desire remaining within the hum and energy of the goings on, consider staying in this cabin-like motel. Our room's location at the end of the hall, and it's private upper flat style deck offer seclusion without exclusion. With the low rumble of the ferry dock across the street, and a spectacular view of the sunrise... More

We stayed two nights in room 7 for a niece's wedding at the pavillon a block away. It had its own private entrance and garden, away from the busy street and town. Easy to walk to any place to eat, for coffee, to the ferry, to the park, to the beach. Wonderful not having to get into the car for... More

Stayed here over Labor Day weekend, and really enjoyed it. Its very quaint and unpretentious - our room was #2 - which was quite large. It is a quiet place - never heard any noise. Its in a great location - across the street you can rent bikes, and the ferry is also across the street. Restaurants were also in... More

Overall, we were very happy with the Harbor's Edge Motel in Bayfield. The best part about the hotel is the location, butting up to the ferry landing and within walking distance of everything in Bayfield. The hotel was very clean and the decor was cheery. Housekeeping was adequate each day. The things that could be updated to make this a... More

We recently stayed at Harbor's Edge. It's no five star hotel but it gets the job done. The room was clean and comfortable but very noisy plumbing. Every time the upstairs visitors ran their water or flushed the toilet, our room filled with noise. It wasn't a deal breaker for us though because the bed was comfortable and you couldn't... More

As a traveler on a budget, this was one of the cheaper rooms I could find in Bayfield. The room was small, but that does not bother me as I spend little time in my room on vacation. The value in this hotel is in the location, right across from the Madeline Island Ferry, right downtown and in walking distance... More

We stayed here one night during our week stay in Bayfield. We were in one of the rooms in the house part which had a staircase inside to get to a second floor. The room itself seemed clean, but bathroom could have use some upgrades. There was a fridge and coffee maker, but they were awkwardly located in the bathroom.... More

My friend and I stayed at this motel after a full day kayak trip. The name says it all. It was right on the harbor's edge over-looking Lake Superior. We were pleasantly surprised not only by the great location, which was within walking distance of many restaurants and shops, but it was so clean with all the comforts of home.... More
