Staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and tidy, the king bed was comfortable. The view from the balcony was very lovely and the price was reasonable. Restaurant next door served good food and what I suppose are reasonable prices for such a touristy little town. We love Bayfield and this motel and restaurant compliment the ambiance.

We celebrated our anniversary here. Mentioned that when we made the reservation, and we were warmly greeted with a bottle of wine to celebrate. The room had a hot tub that was a treat. The attached restaurant was "OK", but expensive for what you get.

Fantastic room, view and service!!!! The woman who checked us in was so amazingly sweet so was the lady the next morning. We stayed in room 5 it had a beautiful view and the hot tub was very clean and big. I will be back I would like to stay in room 15, I cant wait!!!1

In most locations, the Bayfront Inn would be just adequate, and therefor overpriced. The room is like every motel room everywhere, at least every updated room in every legitimate chain - Americinn, most Radisons, Holiday, etc. But these rooms, especially those on the upper floor, have private decks which are across the street from Lake Superior.
