I stayed at this motel because I wanted to do some ice hiking around the Apostle Islands. The place is good for a quick overnight stay if you're just looking for a bed and a shower. Its pretty basic, but it got the job done.

We entered a spotless room, with a view of Lake Superior. the little private deck is wonderful. Very nice place to stay...and I loved the Naturals shampoo and the hairdryer. I need one like it! We'll go again!

We stayed in #14 and it was great. The beds were comfortable, the decor was pleasant, the room was very quiet, and the balcony overlooking the park and lake was a real treat. The room had a jacuzzi tub which was nice after a long day of sight seeing. Parking onsite was a plus for Bayfield. Bayfield is a pricey... More

While this Inn is in a great location, across the street from Lake Superior, the rooms were just average, the beds were very old and uncomfortable. The bathroom was recently updated and very nice and clean. I think this could be a very loud place to stay in the summer as people were hanging out on their porches while we... More

We paid $200/night, stayed 2 nights in room 15, it was the only thing they had available at the time we booked though it seemed other rooms were empty when we checked in. For some reason, there is no air conditioning in the bedroom and you can't open the window on that side as the noise from the condensers outside... More

We recently returned after spending 3 nights here. It was a very clean and cozy place and we would highly recommend anyone traveling to Bayfield to stay here. The service was great and the view of Lake Superior was awesome! We had our own private deck which was also a plus. The family owned business also owns the Pier restaurant... More

I would stay at Bayfront Inn again. They rooms were nice, the deck was great although not really private. Great view of the Marina. The only complaint we would have would be the street lights at nights made the room very bright. I would suggest getting room darkening shades for the windows.

We are a family of 4 that stayed here on Aug 21 & 22. We had room 12. It was a great room with a fantastic location. Room was large, Fridge, microwave, 2 queen beds plus sofa sleeper, corner fireplace (didn't use) and a corner jacuzzi in the room. We took advantage of that after a day of biking on... More

I and 3 friends stayed 2 nights in Suite #13. Very large with 2 beds and a sofa sleeper, a fireplace (which we did not need because the weather was great) and a Jacuzzi (we were too busy sightseeing to have time to use that) We did, however, sit out both nights on the balcony enjoying the great view of... We stayed here one night on a impromptu trip. Room 2 was the only room available. It was a nice room. With great views. We really don't like to sit outside so we were not upset that it was one of the few without a balcony. We rode our bikes from the ferry but it is right across the street... More
