Another year at Seagull Bay, and another wonderful experience. Honest to God, it's like a second home. They arrange for transportation to the Chautauqua Big Top Shows, something that must not be missed! See you next year!

On a recent trip around Lake Superior, this was one of our favorite stops. I don't know if there is a better view. It was reasonably priced compared to the other choices and was very comfortable. The decor was okay. The owner was very nice and very helpful. I would stay here again.

This is the third time we have stayed at the Seagull Bay Motel in Bayfield, Wisconsin. The beds were very comfortable, room was clean, owner is always very helpful and friendly. The location is awesome as its right on Lake Superior and the view is super!

We have stayed here a number of times. Always have gotten a kitchenette room, which are fine values especially if you use as we do. The view of the bay and Madeline Island is wonderful. By the way, the large windows were sparkling clean so you could enjoy from inside with ease, but we like to sit on the deck... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Seagull Bay Motel. The view of Lake Superior was awesome(the best part of the motel). This is not a fancy motel, but is very adequate and clean. The owner, Mike, was very helpful in every way. Breakfast is not included, but our room had a microwave and fridge. If you are looking for a... More

The Seagull Bay Motel is a great choice for lodging if you are looking for lodging in Bayfield that offers a clean, comfortable room with a great view of the lake. Mike, the owner, pays close attention to his guests and is a wealth of local information. The usual clientele of this lodging is not looking for the extras of... More

For $100/night, can't beat the views, location, complete kitchen, cleanliness, and efficient management. We requested a room with a queen bed and futon (latter to serve as couch). The views of the bay were hypnotic. Place was immaculately clean....WiFi was very strong. Lots of tv channels. Great kitchen facilities (we cooked each night and made picnic lunches). The entryway had... More

When we arrived the owner showed us two differnt rooms to choose from. They were both very clean and spacious. The room also has a fridge and coffee pot. The view was great. A great value for the price.

As other reviewers have said, this is an older motel, but is very well-kept. Rates are very reasonable and the view is priceless! I suggest bringing your own shampoo and hair dryer because neither were provided. Also, there was no A/C. This could have been a problem if the weather had been very hot and humid. Excellent ventilation through large... More

The Seagull Bay is a quaint, older motel which has been beautifully preserved. The furnishings in the room were perfect and the view from the balcony is what you would expect from a hotel costing twice as much. We enjoyed sharing a bottle of wine on that balcony after a hard day of hiking...Priceless. Mike the owner was very friendly... More
