Gruenke's offered us a simple, clean, comfortable and inexpensive base from which to explore the wonders of the Apostle Islands. Centrally located, we were a block from the waterfront, the park headquarters and a great coffee shop (Big Water). Who needs more than that? We loved our visit to Bayfield!
