I loved Bayvield. Just got back from my first trip their and can't wait to go back. Stayed at Winfield Inn... It was excellent.. Very clean and quite. Just up the hill from down town Bayfield. I would highly recommend for folks who want to have privacy and some peace and quit... In contrast there are hotels that are right... more

We didn't actually stay at the Winfield Inn, but a time-share condo which the Winfield Inn manages. We had to check in at the Winfield Inn and collect the keys to the property, but we couldn't find the Winfield Inn! The road splits (which is not obvious as there is a highway in between) and we had to ask for... more

My husband and I luckily called and received news that there was a cancellation. The room was fantastic. The staff was friendly. The view was phenomenal. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone. I am planning on taking my daughter and her family there next year! more

Ada O'Day Condo is booked by Winfield. We did not stay at the Inn itself. The Condo's they book also are right downtown in Bayfield. They are not cheap but so nice my wife wants to buy the Chinaware they had and for the first couple hours, I thought she was going to buy into the condo. Although the area... more

We just stayed at the Winfield Inn and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. From their website the gardens looked huge but it was only a little strip out front. They had a great variety of flowers, but I guess I was expecting more. The rooms on the other hand are very outdated. The tacky decor was overwhelming,... more

Walked in to the lobby asking for a room for the night. Had a few unusual needs, and had been to many hotels/inns in town and couldn't find a place to stay. We needed two rooms, one with two beds and disabled accessable. They had a condo right on the lakefront that fit the bill perfectly. Clean rooms and lovely... more

What a fantastic place to stay. We were on a road trip last month and wanted to find a place to stay in between Chicago and Winnepeg that would allow us to really unwind. The Winfield Inn is just the right spot. The location could not be better with the beautiful town of Bayfield just a few minutes walk down... more

We have stayed with Winfield about 10 times now. We have always been extremely satisfied. We've stayed in the main hotel and condos, and in Ode's Gardenview. We enjoy being outside so we love the newly remodeled condo porches, the lake views, and the terrace gardens and patios. We like to hike but have found the trail to the lake... more

My husband and I just returned from a trip to Bayfield, WI where we stayed at the Brookside Hide-a-Way (#13), a property owned and managed by The Winfield Inn. This was a wonderful place to stay. The facility was situated in the woods just off the main highway so the scenery was charming and felt remote, though we were very... more

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and were looking for a quite place to stay that was in town. We checked out the Windfield Inn website and clicked on "Windfield Inn Properties" and we really liked the style of the Ada O' Day #4 condo, so we rented it out for our 3 day stay last August. WE... more
