We loved it here and will be back as soon as we can. The room was clean and we loved all the decors and the view was just awesome. The bed was comfortable and everything worked just fine. The staff was friendly and helpful. There are many places to shop and restaurants near by. There is a very nice casino... More

This was the fourth time we have stayed at the Winfield Inn. As usual, our one bedroom condo was spotless and everything was in order. The friendly staff makes the visit even more enjoyable. We were sad to learn that there is only one "resident cat" left; the cats have added to the special charm of the Winfield Inn. We... More

We stayed at the Winfield Inn when we visited the Madeline Islands last August for a few days. The Inn is a fabulous place to stay. It is peaceful, with beautiful flower gardens and whimsical art designs. Each room comes with a balcony where we sat outside enjoying the peace and quiet of nature and a bonfire at night. Our... Stayed in the main inn with my husband and our one year old. the inn is on the outskirts of town and not within walking distance of downtown. our room had a funny smell, but was very clean. A little pricey for what you get, but hte view is amazing!

We stayed here because it was on the 'cheaper' end of Bayfield hotels, and they let us stay one night instead of the required two of some of the other area hotels. The motel was surprisingly better than what I was expecting. The bed was comfortable. It was clean. The grounds were nice. Parking wasn't the best as it's on... More

My boyfriend and I stayed in Room 3. It was very cozy, but a little chilly. The bed was comfy. My only issue was that the drain in the shower was so slow. I was standing calf deep in my own shower water.

The condo (room 110) was nice. But, the noise was not. The walls, floor/ceiling, are paper thin. You could hear everything, right down to the people above using bathroom, and every step they made! Very unsatisfied with the noise level! View not exactly as shown in pictures, condo is not located at check-in office, so had to try to find... More

Very nice motel on the edge of town. Pretty room, nice beds and pretty quiet.Good for couples, girls' weekends, families. The prices are a bit on the high side but not too bad. The gardens are gorgeous.

We stayed here over winter break, 2014. It was quiet and clean and the view was stunning! We enjoyed cross country skiing and playing in the snow (with kids) right out the door. We also really enjoyed a local dogsledding adventure and shopping/dining in nearby Bayfield and Washburn. It was a great, family trip. Highly recommend.

My fiance and I came to Winfield during the winter for an escape from the city. We rented a 1 bedroom Condo that had a kitchen and a jacuzzi tub for next to nothing witha beautiful view of the lake. They even allowed pets! We had a fantastic weekend walking around the snowy, sleepy town. Cross country skiing, dining, drinking,... More
