We rented a cabin from Winfeld Properties in September 09 and had the best weekend getaway ever! The cabin had so many details in all of the decor, fully furnished and a very comfortable place to stay! We did not want to go home! more

My husband & I stayed a night the later part of July. We rented a room with a king bed. It overlooked the lake. The gardens on the property were beautiful. Our room was clean & nicely decorated. The staff were great. We loved sitting on their deck in the evening. A very relaxing stay after a day of sightseeing. more

We booked this place because of their website - - - it looked so pretty; how could it be so BAD? We had room 28 ... the motel room on the lowest level for 3 nights for a total of $272.40. As you can see by the picture, it was small, was all concrete bricks (imagine your head next to... more

My husband and I recently spent one night at the Garden View property for our anniversary and were sorely disappointed. The location was not close enough for us to walk downtown. We had to run through a sprinkler with our luggage to get into the basement apartment. Inside, there was a loud dehumidifier running throughout our entire stay. The furniture... more

Lovely home, cozy and clean. Others have covered the amenities, so I will mention the perennial garden - leftover from the previous permanent resident and not well weeded, but alive and kicking with roses, daisies, and the namesake purple and green shamrocks. Apples, sour cherries, and wild thimbleberries grow around the sloping yard. There was definately a bear in the... more

Hubby and I recently rented the Shamrock Hill property of Winfield Inn with another couple. It was a charming small home (in the country) with a full kitchen, two bedrooms and 2 baths with a nice gas grill supplied. It was in a secluded area, not a long drive (about 5 minutes?) from Bayfield. Hubby saw a coyote on a... more

Our family rented a 2 bedroom suite in the inn that also included a kitchen and a living room. The inn had some nice gardens scattered around the yard. We had a big shared deck that overlooked Lake Superior that was very scenic. The rooms were far enough away from the road that there was not any traffic noise. While... more

We rented the Ada O'Day condo #3 in Bayfield and we were pleasantly surprised. This is at the top of a 3 level condo and had 2 private baths, 2 bedrooms (and also a den with a hide a bed). It is really modern, had a full kitchen (great for bringing snacks and breakfast items to save a few bucks)... more

I loved Bayvield. Just got back from my first trip their and can't wait to go back. Stayed at Winfield Inn... It was excellent.. Very clean and quite. Just up the hill from down town Bayfield. I would highly recommend for folks who want to have privacy and some peace and quit... In contrast there are hotels that are right... more
