We stayed here two nights during the fall, and thought it was beautiful. The breakfast was elegant, complete with fresh flowers! The room was large and comfortable, and the hosts were friendly. The view was of the neighborhood, which was residential. It's a fun town to walk through, we went to and from the harbor several times.

We loved the room, porch and location. The best was having our breakfast delivered on a tray outside our room. Breakfast in PJ's is the best and unique to other B&Bs we have visited. The scones melt in your mouth! Great breads, fresh fruit and yogurt. Generous healthy breakfast. All the amenities.

Great place to stay in Bayfield ! Quiet and only a few blocks from down town. Our room was large and very comfortable. Susanand Neal greeted us warmly and quickly told us about all of their amenities and possible places to visit on our stay in Bayfield. As other have already said, the breakfast is delivered just outside your room... More

This is a B and B a few blocks walk from the harbor and quiet as a result. We stayed in the lovely large Swede suite, nicely furnished and with some nice decorative touches. Large screen tv too. The owner provided lemonade and iced tea to sit on the porch with and it all made for a very relaxed time.... More

I'd highly recommend - the room was large and private. It was nicely decorated. Bathroom was also very large. It felt very homey and relaxing. Could go as you please and never feel like you're bothering anyone or in their way. Breakfast was yummy pastries, fresh local fruit and yogurt. Delicious coffee too. Reasonable price also for Bayfield.

Very well-priced getaway in a quiet residential area just a few blocks from harbor. Gorgeous Victorian home, helpful owner (if needed), amazing continental breakfast with coffee, fruit and pastries. Cute private bathroom. Best lodging in Bayfield, we think. Much better than staying near harbor area. A unique place that made us feel like we were far from home but really... More

When booking over the phone the owner was so sweet and sent me a huge packet of info on bayfield activities and sites in the mail. When arriving in bayfield and seeing just the outside of the grey oak b&b we were impressed. Beautiful exterior and property. Inside we were greeted and shown our room. Amazing four poster bed, fireplace,... More

My husband and I purchased a trip to Bayfield through the Wisconsin Public Television Auction in May and The Grey Oak Guest House was the lodging provided in that package. We enjoyed our stay there greatly. It had the comforts and privacy of home. We stayed in a beautiful two room suite and enjoyed our breakfast in our room. Thank... More

First time in Bayfield. Read about this place on TripAdvisor; walked to it from dock area where ferries depart...10 or 15 minutes through residential area. Beautiful old home on a hill. Only 2 guest rooms; we stayed in Brownstone, which was high-ceilinged, comfy, with modern bathroom nicely situated (separated visually from sleeping area by short hall within suite). Excellent breakfast... More

Stayed at the Grey Oak this past week. We had booked the Brownstone Bedroom for two nights, but since we were the only guests, our hosts upgraded us to the Swede Hill Suite for both nights at no extra charge. Swede Hill Suite is much larger then the Brownstone room. Simple breakfast of fruit/breads/pastry's (very good) and juice and coffee.... More
