Stayed at the Jacob Rohrbach Inn during a weekend getaway to Harpers Ferry and Antietam. Weather did not cooperate very much but the JRI was as good as advertised. Everything is clean and very well run. Joann and Paul are very nice and breakfast was very good...coffee, juices, breads and, on that day, a cheese quiche. the only complain my... More

The service is exceptional--the innkeepers go out of their way to make you feel welcome, comfortable, and well-fed! They are very knowledgeable concerning the local history and esp. the history surrounding the famous civil war battle that was fought nearby. The rooms are beautifully appointed and ours had a lovely view from the outside porch/balcony. The food is fantastic--prepared from... More

We have stayed at this wonderful Inn many times and have NEVER been disappointed with one aspect of the accomodations and/or friendly atmosphere awarded their guests. The beautiful surroundings and quiet peaceful atmosphere allowed us to relax and appreciate a slower pace in an otherwise hectic schedule. Joanne and Paul are the most gracious of hosts and I look forward... More

Staying here was a highlight of our trip. The rooms were terrific, the breakfast was out of this world, and the owners (Joanne and Paul) are great. We felt like we were staying with friends.

They served a lovely breakfast. We had the smallest room, but it was comfortable. The bed did creak a bit (antique), and the small desk was a little hard to work at. Hosts were great tho. Lots of eating options in nearby Sheperdstown WVa. Free internet, DVD player in room (with some DVDa provided, including on Antietam).

We stayed at the Jacob Rohrbach Inn as part of a 30th wedding anniversary trip. The room was perfect and the hosts, Joann and Paul could not have been nicer. Joannn was a wealth of knowledge about the area, offering suggestions for restaurants, quilt shops and bike rides. As a remarkable sign of their generous hospitality, they shifted their personal... Myself and a friend were guests at this lovely b&b. Our hosts/owners Joanne and Paul, were very gracious and welcoming. They were both very knowedgeable about the town's and the house's historical importance regarding the civil war. The room itself was quite comfortable and featured a full size and twin bed. There was a LR/parlor as well and bathroom with... More

We always stay at the Jacob Rohrbach Inn when coming up for the CATF weekend. The rooms are comfortable, the breakfast is great and it's a wonderful location to getting out and doing more than just theater! Marsha and Bob

My husband and I stayed here one night in the General's Cottage while visiting the battlefield. The inn was just a few minutes from Antietam's visitor's center as well as nearby Shepherdstown. The cottage was the best room we have ever stayed in. Very clean, spacious, private and comfortable. We particularly liked that we had a private entrance, our own... More

Stayed there with my children in the General's Quarters. It was very nice. Beautiful room and very private. Inn is situated in a premium location. Breakfast was amazing. Owners can really see the details. Thank you.
