We loved this Inn! Sharpsburg is a small town, and this Inn fit the bill. We were met by the Innkeepers with coffee, snacks, drinks, etc. and our room was on the back of the house, snug, spacious and quiet. We could walk to our restaurant for dinner and then to The Nutter Ice Cream Shop for the most delicious... More

Lovely home run by a very likeable and knowledgable couple, willing to share conversations about the history of the area. Breakfast was a treat! A short drive to the battlefield, and they provided the audio for the drive. Rooms are clean, and grounds are lovely. Would go back without hesitation.

The innkeepers, Amy and Chris Vincent, we so gracious and made my ten year old daughter feel right at home. We stayed in the General's Headquarters behind the Inn. It is a fantastic old summer kitchen made into a special get-away with a private bath and reading area. They were very helpful in us locating a delightful restaurant in Shepherdtown... More

Loved our 2-night stay at the Jacob Rohrbach Inn! Chris and Amy are wonderful hosts (Chris even packed us a "to-go" breakfast when we had a very early departure one morning!), and we definitely recommend staying in The General's Quarters...so private and cozy! Although the weather was a bit too chilly for a planned bike ride, the Inn offers bicycles... More

This was a lovely place for a winter weekend of exploring Antietam and Sharpsburg. The historic home is cozy and interesting and the accommodations quite comfortable. The highlights were the amazing breakfasts and the knowledgeable innkeepers. We had our son with us (ten) and it was a great trip for him.

We enjoyed the accommodations and the innkeepers, Paul and Joanne. Very convenient location. The breakfasts were excellent. Come hungry! Beautiful house which is very historic. Most of it pre-dates the Civil War.

This was a return trip and as expected -- was excellent! Joanne and Paul are wonderful hosts. The food was great and the conversation even better. My wife is vegan and Joanne put together a breakfast to accommodate -- very well done. We like to side trip into Shepherdstown -- what a treat during the holiday season. We will return... More

We stayed at the Jacob Rohrbach Inn Bed and Breakfast the last weekend in October. We arrived in the late morning and were greeted by the housekeeper who quickly introduced us to Paul, one of the proprietors. Soon we also made the acquaintance of Joanne, Paul's wife and the other innkeeper. Paul helped find me a bike the fit me,... More

A very nice room with a great view from the balcony looking into the yard. Kept very well and clean. Given great advice about food around town and the history about the inn. Inn keepers were delightful, and breakfast was delicious.
