This place was ok for a less expensive hotel in a great location. My boyfriend and I visted San Francisco for the first time this past weekend. We stayed at this Travelodge for the first two nights of our stay. Pros: -It is located close to a bunch of tourist attractions. Ghirardelli Square is a couple of blocks away, as... More

First of all, the nightly tariff was very reasonable considering that hotels in San Fran are not particularly cheap. Breakfast is included but be aware that breakfast means a coffee, tea or juice and packaged pastry, muffin or granola bar which you get from a small area set up on top of a cabinet in the tiny lobby area, there... This was a nice little motel. The location cannot be beat, nor can the price. It was clean and well appointed (for an older motel). We had a basic clean and safe place to stay near the wharf for a very modest cost compared to other properties in the area.

The rooms were small but clean. The beds were comfortable. However I was a group coordinator traveling with 23 people. Our flight was later than the eleven a.m. checkout. The desk manager refused to stow our luggage. We had to go to another hotel and rent a room for the night to stow our luggage. I was not happy!

(Lombard street on corner of Van Ness) Fantastic room, 2 bathrooms, clean and friendly. Local to Fisherman's Walf 15/20 min walk with lots to see on way. Also about 15/20 min walk further down Lombard for restaurants. Breakfast ok for a quick fix but small room so gets busy, however tables outside too. Safe area for kids, buses to all... More

Going into our trip we weren't sure from past reviews what our hotel would be like. Usually you pay for what you get and this was a lower end hotel. It was however in a great location as we walked everywhere. No free airport shuttle but only 17 each way from the airport. You have to book on your own.... More

Excellent Location. Good price. Friendly staff. They tell me the do NOT have rollaway beds, even though the Wyndham reservations people who booked my room for me told me they absolutely do have rollaways. Also, the shower had no place to put ANYTHING...no shelf, no foot stool or seat...nothing. Fortunately the toilet tank was only inches away and this was... More

The area was really nice and we were close to the wharf. The staff is really rude and unfriendly I felt like I couldn't ask questions or services.

My wife and I were recommended this place for a budget option in the heart of Fishermans wharf. Location is great. All of the main attractions are within a pleasant 20 min walk. Some of the streets are very steep so it may take a bit longer than usual to walk around but we enjoyed burning off some calories considering... More
