We had read the reviews (mixed) so were a little apprehensive but were pleasantly surprised! Our room was spacious enough for our 3 nights - with hanging space - clean and relaxing. Hot water available morning and night, firm bed was not uncomfortable, staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a limited choice but easy to take out in your bag.... More

Small motel in a very good location, close to Fishermans Wharf. Not a lot of choice for breakfast but then it is complimentary. At first I thought that the shower was not very hot but then realised that there is a knack to setting the tap in the right place, they work differently to the norm, once you figure that... More

You get what you pay for: this is not a luxury accomodation. But there's nothing major wrong with this hotel: the room has been renovated recently, it is clean and most of all, you're one block away from Fisherman's wharf. Yes, soundproofing could be (a lot) better, same thing for the front desk, breakfast is a joke. If you're in... More

Excellent localization, but it is oldfashion, durty, lobby and breakfast is poor. Room was so so. Hotel charge usd 25 per day for parking, no safe. The advantage that is near of main touristic points of city. Y could go those main points walk

Loud street, smelled like urine in the room, lumpy beds, holes in wall, uncomfortable all the way around. Checked out in one hour and changed hotels. Window was unlocked, so safety hazard too! Whole family disgusted. Demanded a refund and manager Jay said he couldn't do it, booking.com website had to. I called them and they said he had to.... More

This small motel is located within a couple of blocks of Fisherman's Wharf and a 10 to 15 min. walk to Pier 33 for the boats to Alcatraz. The rooms look as if they have been recently decorated. Very clean. Older motel, and the screened windows opened. No AC rattling all night, so this was a real plus. Ask for... More

This hotel was very conveniently located for all the stops we wanted to see while in San Francisco. Once you pay for parking there is a guaranteed spot for your stay. We left the car at the hotel mostly and took public transportation. Just a short walk to the cable car. Rooms were clean and had been recently upgraded. We... More

We stayed here 2 nights this past weekend and you can't beat the value. The Travelodge is older but the rooms had newer amenities and were very clean. The rooms are small but if you're not spending a lot of time in your room, that's hardly an issue. My only complaint was lack of hot water. Most of the times... More
