Stayed recently for our honeymoon and we were both impressed with the hotel. Very clean room, an exceptionally comfy bed and the bathroom was a good size. Unfortunately our room was beside the lift which was quite loud, so I recommend asking for a room away from that. The staff were very friendly (except for the man on the reception... More

This is a great boutique hotel, with a great theme - Hitchcock's Vertigo film, based in San Francisco. It's all orange and white, with the swirling logos repeated throughout. The movie even plays on repeat behind the front desk - with very nice staff. I stayed as a guest of the hotel to check it out, and found everything to... More

So one, you have to appreciate Hitchcock when you stay here. Even the elevators have a tendency to creep you out. But there are great bars and food within seconds from the hotel front door. The staff is cool and very helpful. I felt truly welcomed and a great atmosphere. Price was perfect for what I need to stay for!@

Definitely Art Deco. Great location to the areas to visit - Chinatown, Union Square, Lombard Street, and if you need to go further, the trolley cars. Accommodating, friendly staff. It was remarkably clean. The only gripe was the WiFi - it was intermittent at best. While there, guests should visit Mymy Coffee and Cafe Bean, which are both within a... More

We loved this neat little place in the heart of S. F. Trendy and fun ambiance, rooms are a little bit small but perfect for the adventurer who doesn't spend much time lofting in the room. Beds are very comfy, rooms are clean and service is great. Would stay again!

I booked this hotel through a late availability website, but due to the World Series Baseball, I didn’t have a lot of choice, and the price I paid clearly reflected this. Sad thing is, for the $250 a night I had to pay (room only, as there is no restaurant for food), my expectations were obviously going to be higher... More

We stayed in this hotel for about 5 nights. We had a decent room - nice size and design - although noise levels were a bit high. The hotel design is trendy and it's in a decent location, but the hotel is completely let down by the quality of the service from the front desk staff. Our particular issue was... More

Dear Alli Travellin, Thank you for your feedback. On behalf of the staff, I would like to extend an apology for the communication failures you experienced while with us. While I am disheartened to hear we did not meet your expectations, it is important to me. We work very hard to create an environment that is harmonious and delivers a... More

The character of the building was very charming as well as the room. It was very tiny but I only needed it to sleep for one night. They have free wifi which is rare (ironically) in SF hotels. There is no AC so be careful what time of year you choose to stay. I came in September and was totally... More
