Great value for the money! Nice older hotel, just a couple of blocks from China Town, steps away from Powell cable cars. Room was nice enough. Smaller as are most hotel rooms its age. The room was modern and quiet. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. Across the street is a great little hole in the wall restaurant called... More

Well, to be fair, the weather was not the hotel's fault. And there were no earthquakes when we visited San Francisco either, but the ground sure shook when we discovered this gem, dated from 1912 if I do recall. We drove up and wandered in to a pleasant but not particularly expansive lobby that reminded me a little of an... More

Dear Recent Guest: Thank you so much for the comments and feedback of your recent stay at the Executive Hotel Vintage Court. As you noted our hotel has 100+ years servicing visitors in San Francisco but as our hotel is more in the residential neighborhood of Nob Hill, our rooms are quite large compared to other San Francisco hotels. Also,... More

I stayed for 5 nights and loved this place. The room was clean, staff was helpful and sometime there even was some free wine in the lobby. Perfect location. Just a few blocks away from everything, near the cable car and a small grocery store. Would definitely come back!

Location is very good, but the place looks dated. Room is decent size but internet is slow, and comes and goes. Also it has a weird smell that stays in your clothes. Me & my team did the check out in the morning and headed off for some final meetings with customers, and when we came back and asked for... More

Dear Recent Guest, Thank you for the feedback in regards to your recent hotel stay. The room was small, musky, and way overpriced for what you get. The AC in the room was incredibly loud, good luck trying to sleep. The customer service was the worst. There was an issue with the laundry that I sent to be cleaned. The issues were as follows: 1. The hotel maintained no record of the fact that I,... More

Very convenient for both business and tourism. Staff was very helpful in making sure the stay went smoothly. I travelled for business but brought my son along and while I was away the hotel provided a great location for him to walk around some the city.

A very nice hotel in the heart of San Francisco. This is the fourth time I visit SF, and this is the nicest hotel I 've stayed in there. Supetsentral location in short distance to Union Square , yet with enough distance that it was quiet and serene. Very nice lounge where there was free wine tasting an hour each... More

We were looking for a hotel on the first leg of our roadtrip from San Fransisco to San Diego but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. The Vintage Court was quite a bit less during the summer than any other hotel in the area. It's a few blocks away from Union Square and close to all major... More

Staying in Chinatown

Neighborhood Profile
Chinatown
As the oldest in North America, San Francisco's Chinatown is an exotic experience. A unique neighborhood decorated with colorful shops, historic streetlights, hanging lanterns, and pagoda roofs awaits behind the stone-carved dragon gates. Feast on dim sum at the tea houses, or meet the locals who gather at historic Portsmouth Square to play chess or practice Tai Chi. Fish markets, produce stands, tourist shops, jewelry stores, fortune tellers, temples and restaurants come together to create a world unto itself in this historic neighborhood.
