I phoned the Villa Florence to order a bottle of champagne to be sent to my parents' room as a surprise for my mom's 65th birthday. This proved to be a great challenge for the hotel. I was transferred 4 times between various desk agents and the hotel's restaurant (Kuleto's) and received no help. After being transferred to the restaurant's... More

Chose it (for the second time, first time was in 2011) for this year's Thanksgiving. I cannot stress enough the value of its location (if you are fan of staying in places that are within walking distance of landmarks and shopping places, I would say there's no better choice). Staff members are not only friendly but really efficient. I like... More

Very nice staff, felt like you were walking into a little history in the real Florence. Nice bathrooms, room and what stood out was the helpful and accommodating staff. Only there for a night but worth it.

The staff is really pleasant and accommodating but although the lobby is pleasant, the rooms definitely are somewhat shabby with stained and worn furniture. However our twin beds were comfortable, bathroom was modern with above average tiling and good lighting, and internet connection free without issues. Excellent central location. Go to Daniels on Ellis st for great chai latte and... More

This hotel was in a perfect city location, clean & safe. Met all of my requirements. The carpet was worn, and the bathroom was tiny, but would stay here again in a heartbeat. I hope they don't raise their prices too much after the renovation. I loved this hotel!

The hotel is very classy and European. It is in the heart of the best shopping places (macies, Bloomingdales, saks, Most of the brands are all within walking distance). The hop on hop off bus is at the intersection on the square. The cable car is just accross. There are taxis all the time. The suite we got was spacious,... More

This was our first time at the hotel and I loved it! If you want to be downtown, the location is 100% - it's a 1/2 block off Union Square. It was perfect for a family holiday trip for shopping and dining. The staff is wonderful, everyone was exceptionally helpful and courteous. It has a very European feel, not a... More

The location you can't beat but the staff wasn't very friendly. The rooms were incredibly small. It had the old school hotel charm for sure. Our bathroom was same size as a closet. Good for a night stay.

I booked this hotel for a business trip and stayed for 5 nights. The reception staff was very nice and saw that I was staying for so many days and offered an inside room, which would be a lot quieter. I am not sure if the inside rooms are smaller in size, but the room is really tiny. You can... More
