The position of the hotel is good, and it's probably the only positive aspect. Rooms are large, but dirty, smelly and humid. Beds are not really comfortable and we couldn't use some towels because they were not clean. One night we had troubles sleeping because other guests were incredibly loud. The staff was polite, but not really friendly nor helpful.... More

I read some awful reviews on Trip Advisor about the Oasis Inn however my stay at this hotel was very pleasant. Positives: very friendly gentlemen at the front desk who answered any questions we had and was very helpful, spacious room with 2 queen beds, very clean bathroom and overall room, plenty of towels changed everyday as well as bed... Picked this place despite some very hostile reviews as it was seemingly close to Union Square and Chinatown. OK, it's a little grubby and run down BUT the room, beds and bathrooms were clean, it has free parking (rare in SF) and it wasn't far from the main sights as SF is a pretty compact City. Downsides, generally apathetic (at... More

I stayed here one night with my wife during my travel through SF. Simply unacceptable. The towels were dirty with hairs! No shampoo or conditioner. I would never go here again. The bed sheets were also dirty so we had to sleep with our clothes on.

I stayed in 3 places in San Fran for a long conference this August. I found this place to be the best as it has large rooms. It is certainly not a 5 star place and the price you pay is minimum in San Fran but the service is decent. The Nepali people running the place are also nice and... More

Disregarding the fact that they lost our booking and tried to send us to another hotel, this place is...ok. The rooms are big and it's close to Van Ness so you can get buses all over the place. However, it's not in the nicest area. Avoid walking along Eddy AT ALL COSTS, especially at night. The walls are paper thin... More

Spent 3 nights here in November, the room was basic and the blankets for the bed could do with a good wash, didn't use them they looked to grubby. Not a great area to walk through to get into the city, although we were not bothered by anyone still felt uneasy. It is not what I would call a 3*... More

I was told this is 3 star hotel. Makes me laugh!! Can't sleep in night as you will hear cops siren through out.... More
