San Francisco has gotten expensive. I get this. What I don't get are dive hotels charging an arm and a leg and providing the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I tried to overlook the fact that the hotel was located in a sketchy part of town because of its proximity to transit which was a block away. But... More

We recently stayed at this hotel on a visit to the U.S.A., starting in Las Vegas and ending in Los Angeles. We stayed in many hotels through the tour, but this was by far the worst hotel, and we do not consider ourselves fussy. We made the mistake of trying to stay near the centre of San Francisco a within... More

Our intentions were to stay in San Fran for 2 nights, and most of the time we were out and about, so keep in mind that for all intents and purposes this hotel was adequate. The room does seem dated, and the carpets not the cleanest possible, and there's people outside who smoke. There is also no air conditioning, but... More

They did not service our room the first day. Their excuse is that they have many rooms to clean. The blanket on our bed had holes in. No aircondition and poor ventilation. The windows have not been cleaned in months. Carpets look dirty. The Wi Fi is very slow.Pillows need to be replaced.

We stayed here for a few nights and the room we had continuously heated. We asked to move and when they had a room available, they moved us. The rooms are a little dated, but they're clean and all you need. The location is fairly central with 20mins walk to places like little Italy and union square.

I was nervous about staying here due to the poor reviews regarding hotel cleanliness and location with homeless people around. First of all, location is EXCELLENT! Close to all the San Fran attractions. Totally worth it compared to hotel prices by the airport factoring in all the time we saved NOT spent in city traffic. We also felt completely safe... More

I came in with low expectations, and was surprised. It served its purpose. Large room, clean, nice outdoor area with in the complex, amazing shower pressure, air con worked, centrally located ( I walked everywhere). Only down side was the location itself, there were a large amount of homeless near the apartment. If this bothered you, it was easy enough... More

I was a little worried about staying here after reading the reviews, and actually brought my own sheets and towels to stay here one night. Most of the other hotels in the city were full because there was a large convention. However, this place wasn't that bad. The room was large and clean. The sheets smelled fresh, and though thin,... The Oasis Inn has clean large rooms which are cleaned daily and you are also given fresh towels daily. Large queen beds which are very comfortable. It is in an ideal location near the centre of San Francisco. Reception staff member (Dan) was really helpful and pleasant. Car parking is free at the side of the hotel. I would book... More
