I spent a couple of nights at this property. As I had flown for about 23 hours I was quite tired when I got there well before normal check in but the efficient and friendly staff found a room for me. The room was impeccably clean with all the basic features you expect plus a small bar fridge, free wi-fi... More

My friend and I stayed here from a Sunday-Tuesday to attend a concert at the Palace of Fine Arts. It was the perfect location for us, as we could walk to both the concert venue and the Presidio (Walt Disney Family Museum) in a matter of 15-20 minutes. We did not rent a car, so this was important to us.... More

This Travelodge provided clean, simple lodging with great proximity to the surrounding city-scape, as well as to the beautiful Presidio. We all enjoyed our time in San Francisco and this establishment played a huge role in giving us a warm, clean place to reside while we explored and enjoyed our time on vacation. Well done!

This hotel offers a quiet haven next to the Presidio, with free parking, pizza, French bistro and an English Pub nearby. The hospitality is extraordinary!

This hotel fit the bill as we wanted to stay near the Presidio. Check in and out was easy. Loved Bruce at the front desk. He was so helpful! The rooms were clean and tidy, perfect for our brief stay.

Our room had a king bed, and opposite was a long desk w/TV & lamp on top plus plenty of space for placing our stuff; underneath was a mini-fridge that was nice and cold but had a noisy compressor. A power strip on one side of the desk top was convenient and we filled it with our chargers (laptop, cell... More

We stayed four nights here in late January and had a clean well furnished room. Everything in the room worked well. I was pleasantly surprised by the night time quietness in the area. Although we had a car, we found the nearby public transportation to be so convenient that we used it much of the time. We walked a couple... More

The Presidio Travelodge is my favorite when an overnight stay is required for medical treatment at the VA hospital. Conveniently located, safe and easy to get to.

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
