I was impressed with this Travelodge. The location was good, Presidio is in walking distance to the Golden Gate Bridge park (viewing area), although there is construction around the bridge. The rooms were clean and comfy with plenty of room for chargers. I think the staff went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my staff. Highly recommended and... More

Nice accommodation in a good quiet location. Close to transport and shops. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Service provided by Bruce and Raymond was outstanding and knowledgable. Always available and ready to assist with anything.

Our family holiday stay at the Travelodge was outstanding. To begin with Raymond at the front desk was an absolute delight. He was extremely helpful in guiding us about our stay in San Francisco. Very smooth check in, comfortable room with all the necessary perks. On site free parking and excellent bus route. What more can one ask for. Continental... More

If posted, this review should be listed as "ANONYMOUS" Among all the Lombard Street motels, this one is a stand-out. The location on a quiet stretch of Lombard, just in front of the Presidio gate, means quiet. The staff was particularly friendly and helpful, from the general manager, Taylor Shanahan, right down to the service staff. I was concerned about... More

Clean rooms, easy check-in, free parking if you get to the hotel early enough. The bus line is right around the corner and the Lyon Street Stairway walk is tough for you exercise people with a view at the top of the stairs that is worth the climb! The Palace of Fine Arts is close enough to walk to and... More

Stayed here for 3 nights before a cruise. The hotel is nothing special, very basic room in an older motel. What sets it apart from others perhaps is the staff running it, they are super-friendly. The location is good, quiet and near Presidio Park-lovely place to walk. We paid $180 per night all in for a Hotwire rate. Very basic... More

From the outside, the place looks very average and i stayed here because there was nothing else available on those dates in SF. The interiors are fine but the breakfast is barely anything to write about. The obvious plus is the location and the golden gate bride view from the presidio gardens is awesome. But i would rate this very... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
