Contrary to some other reviews I think it was GREAT value for the money. Is it a "nice" hotel? No, definitely not. But me (a mom) and my two children (ages 8 and 10) stayed for 3 nights with FREE Parking and free wi-fi and two queen beds, and felt completely safe, all for $205!!! in San Francisco!!! in the... The rooms look normal, but they smelled weird. Our stay was not pleasant because of that strange odor. I will not recommend this hotel to a friend. Even though it is well located, I will look for other one. It completely ruined my visit to San Francisco... More

The situation is great: in Lombard St and around it, you can find restaurants and shops (an apple store and a starbucks are situated near the hotel). Despite this, the hotel is quite poor. The rooms are noisy (there are three floors) and old. I think you pay too much for what is. The best is that there is free... More

We stayed there because it was a good price and good location. There are a couple of downsides, but nothing major: no elevator (there are 3 floors), parking is very limited although free, rooms are relatively small. We stayed there because we figured we'll be seeing tourist sites in the city all day and use the hotel basically for sleeping.... More

I visited this motel on march 29 and I was quite satisfied with the kind of rooms and the quality of service I recived. The rooms were clean and quite and the guy at the front desk was very helpful in leading us to some good places to see around the city. It also has a free parking which is... More

This hotel is fine. It's clean and affordable. If all you need it for is a place to sleep and shower, then it serves it's purpose. We found the street noise from our room to be very loud. We could also hear everything through the walls-including whiny kids, couples being intimate, etc...We were usually so tired that we were usually... More

My friend and I checked in to our hotel and then went out to explore the city. When we returned, we opened our room to find two transvestites changing. They were preparing to meet men in our room. It was a big mistake in which the hotel falied to double check to see if that was indeed their room before... More
