My husband and I stayed here for 10 days and were very happy with the service at the counter and cleaning staff. The room was clean and comfortable with a fridge and microwave which helped us to save a bit of money on eating out. The location of the hotel is in a great area easily in walking distance of... Through search and search I found a hotel still very expensive but cheaper than others. If you are looking for just a place to sleep, well this is it! I stayed at this location for 2 nights. Lets get down to logistics. Reception - very friendly and helpful guy. Provided change for the bus each time and help with the... More

We walked to Golden Gate, Fisherman's Wharf, Crooked Street, Chinatown and the heart of the city easily from this hotel. Right over the road from Mel's Diner and parallel to Chestnut provides a stack of options for family dining. Crap hotel in a great location!

Best location in town. Room smelled like window cleaner and mildew. Towels were abrasive. Free parking.

On a fairly last minute trip everything in town was booked so after looking over the few remaining places and their reviews we picked here. A pay for what you get (high prices high season though) no frills, no extras, hotel. It was clean, the location was crappy but not terrible (a few restaurants around), and close enough to bus... Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
