We did not at all have a positive experience in this motel. The floor carpet was very dirty, and the rest of the room could also have been cleaner. We had a room on the ground floor, and it was quite noisy at night, mostly from traffic on the nearby road but also on our night there was noise from... More

Very poor quality : floor extremely dirty, wifi wery slow and working only 50% of the time, very noisy... Only advantage is the parking, but it's very overpriced... For much less, you can get a hotel without parking in SF and pay for parking separately.

Nothing Spectacular..clean rooms, overpriced like all San Francisco hotels. If this was Seattle this hotel would be $59.99. We chose this hotel because of the free parking which was a treat. No one gives free parking in SF... They provide no breakfast or food at all, only one pop vending machine. The parking was tight, BUT free!! It was on... More

I was surprised by what a great deal this was. Located within walking distance from Fisherman's Wharf and Ghiradelli Square, it is also close to shopping and restaurants in the Marina District. One concern was the small parking garage at the hotel and having to park out on the street. It turned out to be a non-issue but you may... More

Other than the staff being friendly that's the only good thing about this place.. We stayed here for a week while on vacation and it was dirty, mattress was very uncomfortable, we had bugs in the rooms soo many that they had to change our room.. ...we received an apology but really should have been compensated for the inconvenience... I... More

This hotel was within walking distance to Fishermans Wharf, and a few blocks from a BART bus stop that opens up the entire city to you. When we look for a hotel we want a clean room at a reasonable price. We're not looking for a lot of amenities because we don't spend a lot of time in the room.... More

My husband and I stayed here for 10 days and were very happy with the service at the counter and cleaning staff. The room was clean and comfortable with a fridge and microwave which helped us to save a bit of money on eating out. The location of the hotel is in a great area easily in walking distance of... Through search and search I found a hotel still very expensive but cheaper than others. If you are looking for just a place to sleep, well this is it! I stayed at this location for 2 nights. Lets get down to logistics. Reception - very friendly and helpful guy. Provided change for the bus each time and help with the... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
