Our room was dark, depressing, with holes in the wall where a lamp used to be. The light switch was FILTHY. The front desk staff was indifferent. They had our money, we were stuck. No towel rack or hook in the bathroom, smoke detector hanging by its wires. The only plus was free parking. Don't stay here!

Overpriced hotel, no A/C but they do give you 2 fans that just blow dust everywhere. Room was dirty, ciggarette burns all over the carpet and the room needed to be vaccumed. Most importantly my room had BED BUGS!!!! We killed three during our stay and also got bit a few times. SUPER GROSS!!! Housekeeper walked into room at 8:30am... More

Stayed here for 5 nights in aug. + Great location between downtown and Golden gate. Near Lombard street with buses, restaurant, pubs and service. Free parking and LOTs of spaces. - Filthy rooms with old furnitures. Bad cleaning. Noisy, both from rooms and street. Rude staff and not so helpfull. We had problems with the toilet.

Although I read all the reviews and looked at the photos, I was a little unsettled about the reservations that I had made at this hotel. It is exactly what you see, a 1950's style motel, it needs some TLC. I would have like to seen the walls in the other rooms as ours seem to have suffered several holes... More

I never complain about anything, but I have to warn people. -Miserable front desk attendees -Room smelled like cat urine -We had to wear our shoes in the room or our feet got sticky -I looked under the bed and it was filthy -Internet did not work -TV did not work -Mould... We booked this for it's location and that was absolutely perfect. That is where it ends. The owners were not very friendly, the place was in terrible state of repair and it was not clean. We asked to stay for an extra night on top of those we had booked and they charged us DOUBLE what we had paid for... More

The staff was friendly. It's just that on the day we arrived, it was 2 hours earlier than the check-in time. I asked if there were rooms that have already been cleaned because we were traveling all the way from Malaysia. So we had a lot of luggage to carry. The front desk said all rooms were still dirty. So he... More

If you are coming to San Francisco to lounge around in your hotel room and live on room service, this is not the place for you. But if you are coming to San Francisco and want to get out and about, this is a decent place to stay. Especially if you have a car -- parking is free. I've stayed... More
