My husband and I just returned from a long week end in San Francisco to celebrate our 25th Anniversary and Valentine's Day. We spent our time at this lovely, comfortable and quaint hotel. After a long day of shopping and sightseeing it was a pleasure to lay on the bed and sink into one of the best mattress I have... More

We spent 5 nights in this cozy oasis!! It is our favorite place to stay in San Francisco. Comparing to the Nikko and Parc 55. It was hospitably and spiritually a pleasant place to stay with everything right outside the door. Those larger hotels where your name comes up on the display doesn't mean that the concierge can put a... More

Nice little hotel, right in the centre of San Fran with some neat touches such as free continental breakfast and free evening cheese and wine. Our room even had a separate living room, a deep bath with spa, and a real fire place. Only down points were the slowness of having our bags brought to our room, and one or... More

This was one of the best small hotels I have stayed in. The location was great, just 1/2 block of union square. I liked the fact that it was small. The room I had (406) seemed to be slightly larger than the others with a queen bed and a separate sitting area with a small couch and chair. There was... More

We were not expecting the sheer quality of the room decor for the bargain price we payed for this wonderfully located hotel. Okay so it didn't have a grand front entrance, but how much time do you want to spend in a hotel's front entrance?! The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful and as we had arrived late in... More

We loved our stay at this hotel. The location is perfect - close to shopping and wonderful restaurants. There is an abundance of restaurants within walking distance of the Inn, plus the cable car is nearby. For a spectacular view of the City, try the Leatherneck Steakhouse on the 12th floor of the Marine Memorial Hotel and Club (one block... More

We picked the Inn at Union Square after doing heaps of research, and chose it for its location, reviews on here - plus the deal they were offering on rooms. We stayed for three nights at the end of a two-week holiday and were really impressed. The room was a standard Queen and a decent size - even by US... More

Unfortunately, I cannot agree with most of the other reviews, this was the less desirable stay of our whole trip and although I felt I had researched well via TA we were really disappointed and some of the other nearby hotels looked a lot better. Firstly, the entrance to the hotel seemed like a shop front and we almost walked... More

This hotel is a gem. Right in the middle of San Francisco convenient to everywhere. Excellent and attentive service, very comfortable rooms and particularly quiet given the proximity of the downtown. Breakfasts were very good. If a very slight quibble is warranted, the breakfast room was a bit limited in size and overwhelmed by a television. I can't really fault... More

We arrived at The Inn on Union Square a couple of hours before check in - and we were happily surprised that our room was ready for us. We booked a King Suite which had 2 seperate rooms - 1 bedroom and 1 living room area. The living room area was quite small and had 2 chairs (no couch) to... More
