Appreciate the way the hotel made us feel relaxed, at home in the middle of the extremely busy union square. The unexpected free wine and cheese in the evening and the happy conversation with other guests from different part of the world made makes us feel grateful. Keep it up guys. Just happy.

Excellent service. Complimentary breakfast, free wifi, complimentary wine and cheese, after 8 p.m. Homemade chocolate chip cookies and a super clean room. The valet parking is reasonable at $39 per day. You must call ahead for your car 40 minutes (we never waited more than 25 minutes). I will definitely stay here again. The inn is only steps from Union... More

Stayed at The Inn as part of our 25th wedding anniversary trip in November, very different to The Venetian (Vegas) Claremont (Monterray) but what a treat. Great location, super staff and the room (501) was perfect. The breakfast & wine tasting is a little unique but again it all adds to the charm. Thank you for the experience.

We had a really nice experience for our overnight holiday stay at the Inn at Union Square. The Inn has a welcoming staff, very clean, quiet, comfortable, spacious rooms, yummy evening wine reception and extended continental breakfast. It’s located steps from Union Square and the heart of the city. We highly recommend this Inn. What a treat!

We stayed for three nights in October. When we arrived we were greeted by the friendliest, most excited reception desk we have ever experienced. It almost felt like we were witnessing a movie character because she was so over the top nice! However, we discovered that all the staff we came in contact with were equally friendly. As far the... The Inn at Union Square is a gem. The staff are friendly and welcoming, especially Anne who is on reception goes the extra mile to assist in any way she can. The rooms are clean, spacious, with comfortable bed and quiet even though right at Union Square. We were there recently and the Christmas decorations at the square were wonderful.... More

We stayed at the Inn at Union Square for three nights the week before Christmas. I was in town for a conference, and my wife came along to enjoy the city. When we arrived at the airport the taxi driver had never heard of the Inn, which seemed like a bad omen. But, it really exceeded our expectations, especially since... More

This is an old building style hotel. Not much in the ways of amenities within the hotel, but you are in the heart of everything. Rooms are nice, no view from my room other than the wall next door but that is not unusual in a hotel like this. Price is right, service is excellent. I was there on business... More

I have been a regular visitor to San Francisco for several years for both Business and Pleasure...I now stay almost exclusively at the Inn because of its unique atmosphere, accomodations and location... The former Innkeeper ( Wayne ) was a very professional and knowledgeable individual and together with Ann at the front desk they were the "Face" of the property.... More
