The location of this inn is perfect for exploring Union Square or the Financial District. Small inn, with quiet and well appointed rooms. Very clean, nice bathroom amenities. Very much enjoyed the included breakfast and the afternoon wine and cheese. Would recommend, however, if looking for rooms with a view, this is not your place.

My wife joined me for a business trip to San Francisco and after staying near Fisherman's Wharf (which can be very seedy) in the past I decided to try a new area, Union Square. The Inn at Union Square was rated very highly on Trip Advisor and I found the positive comments I read before our stay to be quite... More

It is an experience to stay here. The rooms have no views but are very clean and comfortable. The hotel has really no foyer other than a counter to attend to guests. But the service is very professional at all levels. There is wine and cheese in the evenings in a small area on the 3rd and 5th floors -... More

I just stayed at the Inn at Union Square last night. When I walked in the door, the front desk woman gave a very nice....sincere "welcome back." They acknowledged that I was a repeat guest and the check in was immediate. Backing up just a little, just as you walk in the door, the hustle of union square just disappears.... More

This is a wonderful hotel near Union Square. Great location and room service from Morton's Steakhouse next door. The room was very clean and quiet. It's a small hotel, so book early. The staff was very friendly and I will stay there whenever possible.

We stayed for one night at this Union Square area hotel and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The location is just a few blocks uphill (gradual ascent) from the Powell Street BART station, so it was a breeze to get here by public transport from the airport. Buses abound nearby and the cable cars go up and down... More

This hotel is in walking distance to so much! My husband & I stayed over Christmas for 3 nights and had a great stay. The hotel offers a light breakfast & evening reception, which makes for a great start to your day & evening. The room itself was great & featured a wood burning fireplace that my husband & I... We've been coming to SF for 30 years and this was our first stay here, but it won't be our last. The service is excellent, the rooms comfortable and the breakfast and wine hour a welcome retreat. The location is perfect for getting to all areas of SF with lots of good restaurants nearby.

Loved my stay there. Pleasant people at the front desk, wine and cheese around 5 and warm cookies later. The room was very comfortable, we had a sitting area as well as a bedroom. The continental breakfast offered a good number of options for a healthy breakfast. Very reasonably priced for the area and a great location, a very short... More

2 day, 1 night visit to SF. Rooms are comfortable and service is friendly and accommodating. This is a small boutique hotel close to Union Square with easy access to cable cars, trolley, and BART. Bed comfy, room clean, bathroom and shower clean and functioning perfectly. Rooms are small but ours was a suite and gave us all the space... More
