The lobby is beautiful, and the rooms have fantastic views of the city and the bay. Very comfortable beds, and marble baths. There is something not quite right when the lobby is the best thing about a hotel. Still, it is an impressive lobby. Our room was a nice size and offered a great view-- except we couldn't see it because the windows were obscured with grime. Disappointing for a Fairmont.

Located at the top of the hill, has great views of the bay, steps to chinatown and union square. Rooms are standard compared to other same quality hotels, ceilings are high, gives a comfy feeling. Closet is a walk-in one, and the lobby is very nice.
