We stayed at the Sheraton for 3 nights, the location is perfect, only a block back from the piers, and within walking distance to restaurants and bars. Although the rooms weren't overly modern, they were comfortable and clean. We had trouble with out toilet not working on the second night and the hotel staff attended to it immediately and it... This was easily the most disappointing hotel stay in my life, as this hotel is nowhere near a 4-star hotel. The room we were given was ground floor and adjacent to the check-in parking. Not only did the entire hallway smell of cigarette smoke both days we were there, but because the check-in parking is also the designated smoking area,... More

Dear StGermaine, We are sorry that your experience was not up to expectations. With 531 rooms located on an entire city block, I am sure that we could have found another accommodation that better suited your needs. We only needed to know. We hope that you will consider a return trip here. Sincerely, Michael Hirsch More

The location is brilliant - fisherman's wharf is just a short stroll. The staff were friendly and helpful. However this hotel is really not worth the price. I'm a platinum SPG member so stayed here for the SPG/sheraton brand and quality but sadly this one fell very flat - the hotel desperately needs an upgrade.

Stayed here for a night. The location is good for touristy things in SF. Wifi only free if you're an SPG member. Beds were not particularly comfortable. The room was clean and decorated in a beach type theme. Booked with a discount app and got a reasonable price. The layout is a bit bizarre, but not of concern. The building... More

Had a 4 night stay here. Our room was in the furthest possible corner of the hotel and it was like a rabbit warren to get to. We found a quicker way to our room which didn't have signs. Made two phone calls to land lines in America to confirm pick ups etc for next leg of our holiday for... More

I'm usually not down on a hotel and make allowances however, no amount of helpful staff could have made this hotel visit work for me. In fairness to the hotel, the manager and staff were excellent in all dealings with us. The staff are run off their feet and do their best however, outdated decor, uncomfortable beds and no breakfast... More

We had a one night stay here (but have stayed before) and were happy once again. It is conveniently located only 2 streets away from Pier 39, its quiet, comfortable and clean. It's a bit of a maze to get to your room, but you quickly learn the way, the rooms are decorated with a beachy theme and look smart.... More

This hotel is nicely placed 2 streets back from Fishermans wharf. It's an ok hotel with comfortable beds. The decor is sort of beach casual. It's low rise and my room was a very long way from the lifts. It looked out on a wooden wall. Free internet in the lobby was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. There's nothing... More

Stayed at the hotel from the 24th of December till the 30th, the staff were so helpful in organising Christmas lunch, tours and transportation. Nothing was ever too difficult. Our room was ideal for three people, King bed in a separate room and a sofa bed in the lounge room.

What is the one thing you can do to ruin a customer hotel experience. It is every maids job to make sure the previous guests wake up alarms have been turned off. Picture this, it is New Years morning and at 7:05 AM the alarm starts buzzing. You smack it once and it goes quiet. A few minutes later it... More
