Nice hotel in a great spot in SF. There are plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and cinemas nearby. There must also be a convention centre nearby judging by the people wandering around with big name badges hanging around their necks. Stayed here for a meeting and it could not have been more convenient to Moscone. Metreon is now open and a grat addition to the area. Because I am a Marriott rewards gold or platinum member, I got complementary wireless and concierge lounge access. Otherwise, wireless (faster) access is about $15/day. Would definitely recommend if attending a meeting at Moscone.

The Marriott Marquis is a tired property very much in need of substantial renovation. I checked in and found the bathroom to have an overpowering smell of mildew. The ceiling was stained as well. This hotel visit was lovely. They upgraded us to a suite on the executive floor. The concierge service was great, especially the advice provided by Alan W. He told us about a few museums that we loved touring.
