As a Platinum Marriott member, I'm quite brand-loyal but have recently become disillusioned with the quality of several large-city Marriotts at which I've stayed. I'm delighted to say that the SFO Marriott reminded me of why I chose Marriott in the first place. The rooms - and this is the second time I've stayed here, the first when I had... more

The lobby, service and overall cleanliness of this hotel are fine, and really you cannot beat the location of this hotel in San Francisco. However I couldn't help myself while staying here for a few days for a conference (and knowing the nightly rate), realizing that I would never pay this much for the quality of the hotel. The room... more

Stayed at the hotel for 5 nights last week(6/27 to 7/2) while at a conference. Hotel is very nice and room was in very good condition. Stayed in the low rise section of the hotel(7 floors) and never waited more than a few seconds for an elevator. I know it is not an easy job to keep clean, but the... more

Hotel was lovely, clean, quiet and safe. Location was perfect, less than block away from cable car turnaround. Would stay there again. more

We actually did not stay at this Marriott the night we had reservations with a friends and family discount, we walked around the corner to the Palace Hotel instead. The desk clerk was rude, inefficient, and wasted so much of our time verifying that our discount was real that we had to skip our dinner plans. We have had very... more

I've stayed at the Marriott a few times now in San Francisco. While it's not the best hotel I've ever stayed in there's very little to fault with it in my opinion. It has a great location right next to the Moscone Centre on one side and downtown on the other. I wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. The lobby was... more

I had such a great experience at the Marriott San Francisco. My husband and I went to the city for my 30th birthday, we stayed at the new Intercontinental on Howard the night before. I got a Saturday night stay for $103 plus tax through Marriott's website. The check in experience was one of the best ever, we were offerred... more

Got this hotel through Priceline and was given a huge room on the 17th floor. It had a living area, desk and bar area. The location is fantastic...if you are into shopping. It is across from the Westfield Mall, Barneys is a block away, right in the heart of everything. The only downside is parking which is very expensive. more
