This place looks bad. And it is in a bad part of town. They keep it real clean though. There are not any restaurants close by except a burger king, and you will have to step over or go around 15 homeless people to get there. It was not what I was expecting.

Needed a room for the night and this one worked. Nothing special, but the place was clean and basically quiet, front desk was very friendly and even went so far as to allow me to leave my car there while I went down to the Wharf after checking out. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired though, even under the... More

For the same price I've stayed at much better hotels. The rooms offered the same as all others (fridge, coffee maker, TV, Internet access, microwave oven) and even though they were not dirty the smell was that of cheap motels (yeah, I've been in those, too). The continental breakfast announced at the lobby (a tiny room) consisted of coffee from... More

Its basic and what you would expect from a Rodeway. But the room is immaculate in cleanliness and includes Cable wifi and microfridge.. Manger was super nice. BEST location to subway and Castro and getting around.... It gets better FREE parking and for $49.00 WOW.....In a city where rooms start at $125.00

Shabby and worn-down motel. Very dirty and smelly wall-to-wall carpet making us want to leave the room early in the morning. Disgusting "breakfast", plastic covered pastries and old, cold coffee. Rude and unfriendly manager, when we wanted to prolong our stay one night he told us the hotel was full booked and charged us a much higher prize than we... More

It is a very simple hotel, but it is clean, easy to deal with the staff, free wifi, free TV, microwave and refrigerator. My boyfriend and I stayed there one week and we had a great experience, no problem at all.

Staff was friendly and stored our luggage on first and last day (prior to and after checkout times). Don’t bother with breakfast; if you visit during 2012 the Sconeworks next door is delicious! Not the hotel’s fault that the street outside smells of urine and old socks (home to the homeless). I will seek a nicer location next time. Noisy... More

Did not use elevator, (being repaired upon arrival). Toilet dispenser broken upon arrival, (2nd day it was fixed), report anything broken in your room to eliminate any charges. Local's said Tenderloin: (a district of a city largely devoted to vice), area was bad, (location of Rodeway Inn). Bedding was clean, pillows sunk, breakfast was juice, but the price was right.... We arrived at 2pm. Check in is officially 3pm. Usually this is not an issue. If it is, staff is polite. Despite my Platinum status with Choice Hotels, despite it only being an hour early, the guy at the desk actually said, condescendingly, "Did you read the check in time on the confirmation email?" and then made us feel awkward...
