The motel is clean, easy to access, and close to the Fisherman's Wharf area. My only suggestion is that you ask for a higher than first floor room as you can hear whats going on on the street.

Arrived very late at night (1 AM) after making reservations on their (800) number. I specifically asked reservationist about fee for parking. Three times I was told parking is free, but front desk said no. They suggested I call (800) to get reimbursement. They will investigate and call back within three days. I will post update. Back to the accommodations.... More

The first desk clerk had the personality of a door....He was cranky, not helpful. Ran my husbands credit card and said it was declined we used it all day and had no other issues........it was for a 17 parking charge. The bathroom is terribly laid out....the door hits the vanity and you can't use the sink with out being in... More

Family of 4, 2 teenagers and had a room with 2 bathrooms at the back of the hotel...very handy! If you like a nice stroll it's about 15 minutes walk to fisherman's Walf along the beach and harbour.....you won't get past Ben and Jerry's. Then about 20 minute walk towards the bottom of Lombard for evening restaurants if you dont... More

We stayed at this hotel mainly for budget purposes. It was relatively cheap compared to most other San Francisco hotels. We were pleasantly surprised. The check in staff were very helpful. Our room was on the 1st level on the road but despite this the room was quiet. The room was quite large with plenty of hanging space for our... More

We stayed in May, we had two rooms located top floor at the back of the courtyard. No street noise, nice knowledgable friendly staff. Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Not much of a view but we didn't expect any. If you want an affordable, low cost basic safe accommodation with a great location for visit the city, then this place ticks... More

We loved this hotel. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. We got a large room in the back corner upstairs so we really did not hear any traffic noise with the air on low. The beds were very comfortable and my husband and I finally got a good nights sleep that night. We were in the building behind the actual... More

Clean, well maintained (except for the door). The are few hotels in SF that can accommodate my 6'7" high vehicle. The Travelodge had "truck" parking. While this older property was well maintained, but suffers from typical issues with older venues such as noisy heat pumps, noisy bathroom fans, and minimal sound insulation. The biggest issue was the door to our... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
