Chose this hotel as there were limited options for a family of fine in SF. It's on a very busy road so ask for a room at the back of hotel. Beds are comfy and rooms clean. Bathrooms are very small and the towels could do with being replaced. They were very small and thin. Easy downhill walk to Fishermans... More

Easy check in; friendly attendant; super-clean room. Heating/AC unit worked well and was quite. The hotel is close to the wharf and has easy access to 101. Overall, a very convenient, affordable stay.

I was really impressed with this motel. It was really clean and rooms were spacious and beds really comfy and huge! The breakfast was good: a good choice although breakfast room was small and became very crowded- Nice little laundry onsite. The only downside was that the person that checked us in seemed to smell of strong alcohol and was... More

Newly remodeled & nice. Reasonably priced, esp. for the area. The staff was very helpful especially, Badamaa & Orisoo. Very accommodating with parking, as they allowed us to park in lot a few extra hrs. as we rode the BART. Close to many things.

Very disappointed as not at all how this was sold to us via hotels.com. Certainly overpriced, decor & feel of a hostel & smell of an old people's home. Nowhere nearby to get an evening meal apart from "the overpriced steakhouse next door" as described by the Receptionist.

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel, friendly staff , clean room and great location. Walking distance to all attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Example, We were going to a Warriors game and being from Australia we found it hard to figure out how to get there. The lady at reception offered to drive us there... More

Being San Francisco known for its high rate rents, this hotel was a great deal in the area. My wife and I stayed for a few nights. Short walking distance to many attractions. Despite our upstairs neighbors (it was like they were using brick sandals) the bed was comfy and it was a nice stay. Staff was always helpful. If... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
