The front desk help was wonderful in helping us out with all our request. Please send our thanks from Greg and JoAnn to the front desk staff for their help!

Decent hotel. Prices high and reasonable for downtown San Francisco. Prices should reflect parking but have to pay extra at the location. Internet is WiFi and does not work in every room (had to go outside room) and is very slow. Staff was nice. Rooms were clean. Location is great! Breakfast was hard boiled eggs, toast, butter and cereal.

We experienced good fast service. The room is nice and was clean. The parking is very tight and is not free. They do have a continental breakfast which is good for a fast and included with the rental fee. The rental fee is high but not for San Francisco. The location is very good. There are several restaurants in walking... More

We stayed here for 4 nights whist in San Fran and found it very average. It is within walking distance to Fishermans Wharf but that's about all. Being a family of 5 it can be hard to find accommodation that will fit all of us in one room the Travelodge could do this comfortably. However it is located on a... More

Hotel was older but room was very clean. Staff were all very helpful and courteous. Since the hotel was a ways from Fisherman's Wharf they helped us figure out the bus transit system and it make it easy to get around. A little overpriced it seemed to us but guess because it is San Francisco.

BEWARE!! If you stay here, double and triple check everything. First of all, I had a certificate to use and made reservations through the certificate company. They found me a little lower price (still expensive for a travelodge) so we cancelled the first reservation and made a new one. I went to check in and they said I had 2... More

Staying in Marina District

Neighborhood Profile
Marina District
Beautiful homes, beautiful people, and a beautiful backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge welcome visitors to the Marina. Originally the location for the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in 1915 (whose remnants can be seen at the Palace of Fine Arts), much of the land was filled and flattened to accommodate a world’s fair. That ample space has given way to a jogger’s paradise at the northern edge of the city. With the picturesque bay setting as its backdrop, it’s no surprise that the area has hosted numerous movie productions. Daytime activities focus on café culture and boutique shopping, while the evenings turn this neighborhood into a party-going hotspot.
