All i can recommemd is do NOT stay here. The rooms are old, air conditioner did not work, phone and wall plugs didnt work. When i contacted the front desk i was told there were no maintenance staff to fix it and no other rooms. The shower did not stop running for 4 days. Fire alarms went off 3 times.... More

There was nothing good about this hotel. First I walked into the lobby and there were people sleeping on the couches. They sent me across the street to a horrible place by a car garage and had to walk up 2 flights.....Terrible. I got to the room...found out the ice machine was broken...surprise....and the carpets were not vacuumed, the paint... More

Was clean, everything needed in a nights stopover, no breakfast other than coffee and muffin, but again not unusual for a motel. Lift only worked intermittently, but stairs were fine. Bill was higher than expected, and had to hand over damage deposit, but it's gone back on the card, so not a problem.

No hot water, front desk blamed over booking. Ruined our work trip. No real manager on staff to take any responsibility. Mom and pop spot with no loving mom or pop. Do not stay here.I followed up with manager by email, I was sent back a poorly written, unsigned sloppy email refusing to consider the possibility of how uncomfortable my... More

The hotel itself was okay, how ever this place was the worste guest service i have ever recieved. The front desk clerk refused to go by my reservation and told me i needee to call the third party , then insisted i just cancel so they can give me room to the other person. I should have known it was... More

There's a rat in our room. I guess that's enough of a description. There's also a sign that says that the breakfast may or may not produce cancer. This place is awful and it isn't that cheap at all. So CONS: Rats and cancer PRO: the rat isn't that big

We checked in for a 3 night stay on March 13th. We had a 'suite' with 2 beds and an extra desk. There were 4 of us (all singles, aged 25-35) in town for vacation. I had booked for 4 people via expedia, and the front desk was able to add the name of one of my traveling companions since... More

Again, having read previous reviews about this place I thought that we were in for an absolute shocker. Pleasantly surprised though and overall it was ideal for our purposes. We tend to spend most (80% +) of our day light hours out and about and the City Centre Inn and Suites was perfect for that. We had a small issue... More

This is not a clean hotel. The walls are dirty, the decor is dirty-overall just awful. When checking in, it was made clear to us that he assumed no responsibility for the safety of our vehicle. Not a return visit for us.

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
