This is not a clean hotel. The walls are dirty, the decor is dirty-overall just awful. When checking in, it was made clear to us that he assumed no responsibility for the safety of our vehicle. Not a return visit for us.

After having read reviews for this "hotel", I expected bad things. However, I was pleasantly surprised. My room was clean, well designed and had all the essentials. The area wasn't as bad as mentioned on here, however, as it is slightly further out of town, I didn't risk walking alone at night anyway! The hotel staff were friendly and I... More

The location is close to many attractions downtown, and easily within walking distance. The parking area is somewhat enclosed, but open air, and I didn't feel that my car was safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very old and very outdated. Nearly no workroom or desk space. Bed was comfortable, but linens were outdated. I didn't... More

I only stayed here because it was the only one available due to Fleet Week. The rooms appear clean, but facilities are basic and dated. Basic breakfast was provided, being apples and pre packed pastries, and hot water for tea/coffee from a flask. The communal washer wasn't working and the elevator required coaxing too. In short, basic accommodation, just to... More

This is by far the worst hotel I've seen, ever! Everything is old, small, and broken. The breakfast is a joke! A small table with some crackers and a handful of chairs for ALL guests. Their only "business model" is to be a little cheaper on bookings.com, and than rip off their guests. I've written to booking.com. Hopefully, this hotel... More

Ok..take the hotel out of the location and the rooms are worth only around $50-$60 per night. They are clean to a fashion, they have clean bed linen and towels. The decor as you expect is in need of attention but not as bad as some we have stayed in. It's the sort of place you only want to go... More

It was the worst experience ever. We paid more than 200$per day due to a gay fetish event around the corner. Toilet was not working. They gave me a suction pump via the counter to manage it. Stairs are broken. Dangerous. Not a secure parking. Service is not available. Internet was working only the last day. Breakfast? A joke plastic... More

Went to the city with my friend for a girl's night and we stayed here since it was close to the show we were seeing and it was the cheapest room we could find. The room itself was tiny, clean enough, no view but suited its purpose perfectly fine. It's not exactly in an amazing part of the city, so... More

Pick another hotel. Bad, awful, yuck. Room , staff, location. Booked thru site that rhymes with pedia, won't go there again either. In a bad neighborhood, they do warn you to empty car of all change etc, paid 400 for suite, toilet broke, coffee maker missing, tv outlet didn't work, room old, mattress old, elevator broke. No refunds! No discounts!... More

My cousin booked a double room at this hotel. When we arrived we found out that it has one bed and is too tiny to fit another (not sure exactly why they call it double!). We opted for a larger room. I used my credit card for the second room. But after we checked the room it turned out to... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
