Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. I arrived at noon on my check in day and was allowed to check in early. Burney at the front desk was very helpful and friendly and made my stay great! I would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here early September 2014. Location for the BART (underground) and the trams is ok, but that's about it location wise. About a 15 mins tram journey to Fishermans Wharf. Lots of homeless people congregate around the entrance especially from early evening (5pm ish) into the early hours of the morning. Although we started to get used to them, we... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and I would recommend getting a room that doesn't face the main streets as it was very noisy. They need to update the windows to block out the noise. The rooms were ok but the washrooms are in need of a major clean as there was mold on the tiles. Also there was an intermittent... More

I stayed one night on business. Good location right by BART and old but clean. Overall a dark (low compact fluorescents and 15 foot ceilings) and spooky experience. Just not relaxing. Inconsistent staff, some efficient, some brusque.

We stayed here for two nights booked and paid with a credit card. When we checked out we paid cash for the parking. When the credit card statement came in they charged us again for the two nights of parking. After numerous calls and faxing the receipt where we paid cash the issue still hasn't been resolved. If you stay... More

We read some of the reviews before we went so did arrive with some trepidation. Our room was a good size and clean and had nice decor, also beds were super comfy. Yes, the bathroom was rather tired and did need updating, but didn't spoil our stay. We did not eat in the hotel itself so can't comment on their... More

We arrived at this hotel with a party of 51. First impression of Hotel, dark and dismal. We were shown our room which was a small room, two single beds, shower cubicle etc. The room was very clean but the lighting was very poor. Our room overlooked a building site, workers arrived at around 5am,very noisy. The district was dirty with beggars... More

Hotel itself is quite acceptable despite being in the area frequented by homeless people resulting of some garbage and smells. The problems we have were with laude noises very early in a morning because of garbage tracks picking up and leaving containers and with valet parking – and this is the only way to park your car close to the... Hotel is extremely dark and dated. Staff are rude and will look at you then turn the other way to avoid serving you and taking your bags away. We had an early flight and check In wasn't until 3pm, we had to wheel our bags to an old storage room and then when we returned for check in we were... More
