The headline says it all. Parking was included. We enjoyed our 3 days in San Fransisco. The breakfast was only cookies and danish with coffee and the. If just there had been even some plain bread or cereals it would have been a star more

My son expected me to book a Marriott or a Crown Plaza so when he heard I booked a Motor Inn, he kind of snickered. I booked their suite which had two room and was very large and he was very impressed. They advertise free parking and I was skeptical, but there was space and the front desk told me... More

I stayed here because of the convenient location and the slight.ly lower cost. It is a real 50's kind of place. The first room had some kind of oder like bus fumes. Second room had such poor electrical boxes they would not charge our phones! Had the basics, tho...beds were comfortable, baths a tad updated and clean...and great cheese and... More

Location was great! Rooms were clean and good size! Staff very helpful! Will definitely be back! We were able to walk to Fisherman's wharf and only 20 minute drive to SFSU. There are. Lots of shops and restaurants nearby..a lot to do

We try to avoid tourist traps and expensive hotels, so we were grateful to find Nob Hill Motor Inn, which is situated in more of a "local neighborhood," but walking distance to the sights of San Francisco. We think it would be hard to find a better bargain - amazing hotel rates (compared to other hotels in the city) with... More

Stayed here for 4 nights and we were very happy with room & location was great for bars/restaurants & supermarkets. Plenty of car parking spaces, we had a great stay here and for the value we would recommend staying at Nob Hill Motor Inn

Stayed here two nights , room was a good size, very dated, bathroom drawers couldn't shut. Room was clean. Our room was at the front and very very noisy there. Plus was that parking was available for free.

Stayed here for a night before driving to Lake Tahoe. Good location for getting to Fisherman's Wharf etc and some nice cafes/restaurants nearby. Reception staff were very helpful; rooms standard motel rooms with more than enough space. No frills but did the job!

My husband won't agree, but I've never understood paying a lot more for a fancy place when it's the AREA you are visiting. This is the perfect example of my thoughts: great cheap little motel, free parking (Rare in SF) and helpful front desk staff for the price. Very close to chinatown, great restaurants and bars and not far from... More

Staying in Nob Hill

Neighborhood Profile
Nob Hill
Swanky and stylish, Nob Hill sits in the heart of the city and is home to amazing architecture and views. The hike to the top can be a challenging workout for those who forego a cable car ride, but they will be rewarded with some of the city’s most beautiful architecture adorning its peak. Originally populated with mansions after the Gold Rush, most if not all were devastated in the 1906 earthquake and fire that followed. Luckily all is not lost; storied hotels and Grace Cathedral surround Huntington Park. Having a drink or dinner while taking in the sunset and views at the "top of the Mark" is tough to beat.
