The Good : Place was Clean and staff was professional. We opts for a private bath. Rooms are slightly smaller than we expected, however it turned to be perfect for our two day stay. Parking $45.00 for 24 hours ( including valet and In and out Privileges )

Shocking service. Arrived here with my brother and there is only one big bed. We askesld for another room, none was available. A roll away bed comes to the room but there is no space to fit the roll away bed. Valet parking a whopping $45. When you say it is expensive, you get a response from the concierge "it... More

Dear Marcus_MEL, Thank you for your honest feedback- as an independent family-owned property, we are always looking for ways to improve our guest’s stays. This property was built in 1913 and we certainly have some very economical rooms with a shared bath in the hallway, which is the room you stayed in. These value oriented rooms are smaller; however, we... More

We were very disappointed by my 3-night stay at the Mosser, and in particular, the way they handled our request to cancel our booking that we made in error. I booked a room very hastily on hotels.com (you know, the one with the constant pop-ups "just one room left" "15 people are looking at this room right now") . Then... More

As an American professional business traveler I was intrigued by the thoughts of a $79 room near the Moscone Center. I found the rooms to be VERY clean, VERY nice. I had a shared bathroom and shower arrangement and I was honestly a little worried, but I figured "What the heck? Let's try an adventure". After staying there 5 days... More

My husband and I stayed here while he was on business. I like hotels with a bit of character like this one, old with some history. That being said it was clean and modern in most ways. We had a little bit of a view on the 6th floor, it was nice to be able to open the window and... More

We got the queen room with shared bathroom. To put it nicely, it's quaint. The room fits just what you need -- the bed, a chair, one small nightstand, a closet, and a little sink. I personally found the room a bit toasty even with the window open. There's a nice TV mounted on the wall, but reception was mediocre.... More

Not only is The Mosser a lovely boutique hotel, but it's close to Union Square, transportation and sporting events. We love to stay here. We always book a private room/private bath, but are amazed at all the folks who prefer to stay in the rooms with a shared bathroom...diverse bunch of people from all over the world! PLUS Annabelle's is... More

We stayed here for our anniversary trip and wanted something that was centrally located to everything. Here are the pros and cons: Pros - CLOSE TO EVERYTHING! Shopping, restaurants, transportation & nightlife. The customer service was outstanding, hotel was quaint and loved the ambiance. Cons - rooms are "cozy" so not much room for having your things all over the... More

I booked this room for a romantic getaway for my girlfriend and I to enjoy the city. Based on what I saw online, things looked great. The website showed great pictures and I booked a great looking room with a private bathroom because I thoroughly read about how some rooms don't have them. Better yet, valet parking! Everything was set... More

Staying in SoMa

Neighborhood Profile
SoMa
South of Market (SoMa), has an urban and sophisticated vibe, but you're more likely to find big nightclubs and lots of industrial loft residences than you are to find boutique shopping. Although it’s the epicenter for tech startups in the city, visitors will be able to do more than just business - museums, top quality restaurants, and the San Francisco Giants now call this neighborhood home. Most of its freeway-sized streets may not capture the same character as other neighborhoods in the city, but pockets of charm, like South Park, can still be found throughout its side streets.
