I have stayed at The Mosser for the past 3 VMWorld events. I thoroughly enjoy the location to the Moscone Center and the Powell/Mason Cable Line and BART stops. The rooms, though leave a bit to be desired depending on which rooms you get. They are cramped and the room I had this last time had a view of the... More

This Hotel is in the Center of San Francisco. Small in terms of Lobby and Rooms, but Comfortable and clean. The Staff is friendly and accommodating. The Center Location makes it easy to walk to major Shopping and sightseeing Venues. There are good restaurants close by. The Breakfast consists only of Muffins and Coffee served from a Station in the... More

If you are not too fussed about your sleeping comfort than Mosser in San Francisco is fine because it is in a central city location within walking distance of a number of tourist sites. However, room size and layout is not ideal. The rooms are clean but very small and you'll struggle to place 2 suitecases. Beware most rooms come... More

As this was our first stay in San Francisco, we were a little apprehensive and didn't really know what to expect. However, after landing, we caught the Bart to Powell St and found that The Mosser was only a 2-3 minute walk from the station. Check in was super easy and fast and staff were friendly. The rooms are small,... More

We give an A for the quality of services and the cleanliness of room/hotel. Our main concern was that we have an old mattress. The location was quite good and we noticed few police car in this area. The morning muffin and coffee was excellent. It’s a good place to stay.

Perfect location, friendly staff, great wifi, laudry in the basement, clean room and shared bathroom. Just the size of the room was really small, but i assume this is quite normal for San Francisco. Nice atmosphere in the lobby for the offered snack for breakfast.

The Mosser is walking distance from the bart/metro and right in the union square area. Very good location, easily accessible to/from. Service was good, hot beverages and muffins provided in the morning. Free and strong wifi available. The room is very clean yet small. We have only 1 big luggage and once it is opened, we have difficulty walking in... More

We chose this because of the location, and It proved to be right. Close to union square so easy to get around. Rooms are small, but clean and tidy. Free wifi - bonus and hot drink and muffin in the morning.

We booked here as it was cheaper than everywhere else in the area by a large amount so we're not expecting the great hotel that it was. The premises had been tastefully renovated, were exceptionally clean and provided everything we needed. Yes the room was very small but we fitted our 5 large suitcases in and were able to walk... The best thing The Mosser has going for it is its location. Located behind the Old Navy on Market St. at Union Square, the hotel is close to Walgreen's and City Target (for your last-minute essentials). But it's also near the Muni, Bart and F-Streetcar line. The hotel itself offers small rooms (cozy but cute) similar to most SF hotels.... More
