the one thing that i like about this hotel is it was located at a great location - centrally surrounded by shopping malls, restaurants, and most importantly nearby public transportations (BART, cable car, bus, taxi, street car) that connect you to most of the attractions in san francisco. i stayed for 3 nights in a queen bed room with shared... San Francisco is an expensive city and The Mosser is my go to place when I am in town for marathons/races. I've reviewed this place previously and having stayed here numerous times, I am pleased that they kept their standards. The past weekend I was at the Mosser again for the Nike Women's Half Marathon. My start corral was just... More

Arrived after a terribly long flight (17)hours that had problems - being diverted being one of them from UK, got to hotel and was informed because we were late our room was given to someone else! Then given another (very small) box, i mean room, too tired to care so went to bed. Next morning checked booking and realised we... More

The location of this hotel is great to Union Square, the room itself was fine for the two of us that were staying there. We paid for a room with a private bathroom which we wanted due to the fact that we would be running in the Nike Half Marathon and didn't want to have to wait on anyone. However,... More

This 101 year old historic hotel is a gem in an ideal downtown San Francisco location. I had a queen bed room with private bath on the 7th floor. The furnishings are simple with a cozy, not cramped, feel including flat screen t.v. and free wi-fi. The hotel style is visually interesting and has a friendly and welcoming ambiance. You... More

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while visiting San Francisco and think it's a great value for money in term of location and things to do around. I didn't have my own private bathroom but I did have a sink in my own room. I know it's a bit hard to get use to, staying in a hotel... More

Dear PhilG160, Built in 1913, the Mosser came with quaint rooms. Our rooms are cute, functional and laid-out ergonomically. Some of our rooms provide vanity sinks inside the bathroom. These are the deluxe rooms with one queen-size bed or the 2twin beds. Thank you for staying with us. We hope that you consider booking our property next time you visit... More

I stayed overnight in an end room that overlooked the street. I found the view fascinating and the room had a window seat which was nice. The room was small, which I understand is typical in that area, but the furnishings were modern and nice and it had a private bathroom. I particularly liked having a ceiling fan in the... More

This was the last city in a tour of California. San Francisco as a city is unbelievable, the Mosser as a hotel is decent and worth staying in. The hotel is classically decorated and very clean and tidy. The room was slightly smaller than that of some of the other hotels on my trip but nice none the less. However... More
